H.o.l.y. smokes!!! I’ve been here twice now. First time I went with a group of people. Luckily everyone was willing to share a bit of their food. In one visit I tried the crispy chicken wrap, half chicken, corn, sweet potatoe fries and a couple others I can’t remember. Today I had the crispy chicken sandwich. All of it has been SO good. Hard to pick a favorite here, you honestly can’t go wrong with anything.

All out of chicken on the bone so I tried the chicken bowl. It was very tasty! Didn’t need any extra sauces on it. Very wholesome with chicken, rice, and greens. I think their prices went up since the last time I was there, not sure sides are worth $5 each! They are tasty though so you be the judge. 1/4 chicken and sweet potato fries are also pictured.

Drove a round trip of 50 miles from our hotel to try Zulu food. It was totally worth it!!! Taste of food was unique and delicious. Looking forward to visit again for chicken on the bone meal.

Absolutely fantastic South African cuisine. This place has portion sizes for a king, sit down menu prices in a business express style format. We tried the African street corn and wings for an appetizer, with the wild and African hot sauces. The sauces were so delicious and that African hot sauce is spicy in a good way. I did the chicken bowl and my date did the sweet salad. Both were phenomenal.

We ordered the Family for 4 dinner for take out. We added soup & a wrap to try as well. The chicken breast with medium sauce was very flavorful & the sauce had great heat to it. Without the sauce the chicken breast would be somewhat dry. The potato log fries are a must w/ fry sauce. They’re crisp on the outside & melt in your mouth. They have the right amount of salt & the fry sauce adds unique flavor. They were delicious! The cucumber mango salad is not good. The cucumbers are very soft & mushy. Basically you’re buying vinegar cucumbers. The vegetarian wrap was nice & light and delicious if you love mushrooms. The soup was terrible. The flavor, the texture, the color was all disappointing. We love vegetable soups, but this soup was terrible. Overall, it is a unique place w/ a great cause. My suggestion is to stick with the chicken & potato log fries. You’ll be happy you did! The customer service was a little off. I ordered online & they didn’t check my order prior to giving it to me. They forgot my 2 sides & my soup. I feel like any restaurant that has amazing customer service, these days, will be the most successful. It’s hard to find great customer service with minimal mistakes.

Food is fine. Literally nothing special. We ordered their “special” the spicy chicken strips and this is what we got. Really?? We both laughed when this got served to us. Basically a microwaved tender with sauce on it? Idk, it seems lazy to me. The potatoes on the side are incredibly bland. They need salt or something to jazz them up.

Delicious, flavorful food served in generous portions. Good food, good cause, fair prices. I will definitely come back when I’m in this area. I loved the tangy and tasty aioli with both the chicken and the yummy potatoes. I suggest trying the gumbo. It’s very filling and delicious.

Super shocked by this place I came in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised not just by the atmosphere, but the fresh ingredients they used in the food I got. I chose to get the wings and thoroughly enjoyed them. I’m excited to go back and get the Piri piri chicken. I got the lemon garlic sauce for the wings and it seemed to just get better and better the more I ate. The cucumber mango salad was also excellent.
