Found this place for restaurant week may 2023 and it was unique and delicious. The atmosphere is totally unexpected based on the outside look. Very modern and upscale look inside, Nick provided great service and food presentation, and the chef even came out to tell us about her inspiration for a very interesting dessert. Fun fusion of Korean/Filipino/ Chinese dishes. Great variety in their drink menu as well. Definitely plan on returning

The food was not bad, can be better. But I love the pollack pasta. And shrimp sliders was good too. The raw oyster was fresh enough and didn’t disappoint my boyfriend. The mango roll was not bad.

So we were supposed to go to peppermill steak and cocktail grill off of McClintock but, they decided to open at 5:00pm even though the answer machine says that they open at 3:00pm and Google thinks that they’re open at 10:00am on Saturdays. So after a quick Google search we found Zu & Pocha and I have to be honest it was a godsend!! The food, the atmosphere, the service, the music everything was just so on point. Ordered a few different items off their menu and loved every one of them from the sushi rolls to the appetizers everything was incredible! This is a great place for date or just to lay back chill and have some sake with a couple of appetizers.

I visited Zu & Pocha for the first time yesterday and I can’t believe the amount of times I went to Kuka, not giving this place a second thought! I wish I had been here before but better late than never.

Excited to try this place for restaurant week. Somehow when I saved my reservation through OpenTable on my calendar it posted as 8pm when it was 5:30. I called the restaurant to apologize and see if we could still get in. Angel was so friendly and accommodating and we were still able to get a table.

Everything ordered was good! Was pretty empty when we came on a friday night (later in the night). The restaurant was clean and prices were decent for happy hour! Wish they carried horseradish for the oysters and shrimp though! Can’t wait to come back and try more 🙂

The people were polite but a bit unaware. It was a little difficult to get there attention for things like chopsticks, Soy sauce, bole of rice and a dish they forgot to bring. It almost felt like I was a burden asking for these simple things. The place wasn’t busy so I can’t imagine how it would be if they had a full house. This was our second time coming here the first time was a Saturday night, we didn’t have reservations so we were turned away. They said they didn’t have room for walk-ins. So if you want to go be sure to make a reservation just in case. On the bright side the food was fresh and well prepared everyone was happy with the food in our group.

Hit Zu & Pocha as part of AZ Restaurant Week, and super glad we did. Terrific food (textures, flavors & spices were top notch), great service (helpful suggestions, great timing), and beautiful presentation). This will be our new “must visit regularly” restaurant in Tempe!

Service is just as good as the food – AMAZING. Good atmosphere and attentive staff. They flavors are clever and the presentation is exceptional. I don’t think I’ve ever rated a place 5 stars before or been to a restaurant more deserving of a perfect rating!

For a nearby campus restaurant, this is a perfect place for a date or celebration with its matured menu, beautiful decor and ambience. Have to get the Pollack pasta, very popular and super rich and creamy. We even had to cut the creaminess with some siracha. The Truffle Japchae is a great option as well, not spicy but you can taste the truffle. We got a few rolls but are not be the best sushi in town. But the entrees like the salmon were phenomenal. We tried a few desserts and the molten lava cake was the best! We celebrated a birthday and enjoyed great service along with the food!
