I’d love to give this 5 stars for the food, but I’ve had a meal or two that were just okay. However, the pistachio encrusted salmon was absolutely perfect! And the tiramisu is delicious as well. For Stafford, this is the highest quality restaurant around. The service is amazing and, generally, the meals are as well.

Asked for a local recommendation from the hotel I was staying at and this was it. I was a little skeptical doing Italian when having lived in the Boston area for 30 years I am picky with my Italian food. This place knocked it outta the park. I tried their homemade blackberry sangria and it was fantastic. The bread service was great with a couple types of bread and some well done oil for dipping. I had the chicken parm and every part of it was delicious. The chicken was flattened and perfectly breaded to not take away from the chicken, and the cheese was perfect. The pasta was served just right and was one of those pastas that you appreciate just for the pasta itself. Great sauce too. I would say a perfect meal!

Set a reservation for a Thursday evening meal with friends. The restaurant was busy and had seating available BUT, like many places, admitted to being short staffed. So, service was a little slow but understandable. Also, the service staff worked hard to cover all the patrons adequately. Paul was our server and he did fantastic. The food was delicious and for a table of four we all were full with doggy-bags for around $120.

Downtown DC food quality in the middle of Stafford… Who knew? Just a delightful lunch. Just picked this place on a whim. Had antipasto salad and linguini carbonara. Enjoyed both. Very reasonable prices. Server was excellent. Will be back.

Amazing food! Allot of “authentic” Italian restaurants fall short but this one delivers. Out of town and stopped in, I don’t think anyone at the table spoke during the meal other than words of delightment. The sauce was incredible, pizzas, pasta, even had lemoncello!
