Loved the plating. The chef and team really used the space on the plate to demonstrate great balance on the salad dishes. The service was well timed as well allowing for great flow between courses. The artwork on the walls also really capture the spirt of the restaurant and lend to an energetic atmosphere. Congrats to the team for their excellent service.

Food is very flavorful and diverse. Atmosphere is great didn’t too much appreciate the 4% charge for using my credit card but food was good so it was over looked.

We’ve been coming here for over a year and do not waste your money on carry out or delivery, better value dining in. Waited over 40-45 minutes for food when told 30 minutes, not a big deal because they were clearly busy, but I watched my hot food sit for close to 20 minutes while waiting for the sushi. And the sushi…no wasabi at all anywhere. Also, I get that things have gone up I’m price, but don’t charge more and serve less. I do not at all believe this is even an adequate amount of chicken in a chicken bowl and I am not even a big meat lover. And the 4% charge they pass onto their customers for using a credit card. Oy. And the music was blaring so loudly the young lady who took my order were forced to yell at each other.

What a unique place. Love that I can get mariscos and sushi in one sitting, though I only had time for a quick lunch.

Food and drinks are good, spicy garlic edamame and berry mint mojito are a must try!

Latin meets Japan! Excellent food and outstanding drinks. Happy Hour 2p-5p. It’s unorganized like any new spot & most staff is new. But I had an excellent Server named Jay. He was just on point with everything. This is a fine example of what every good Server should be. The Owner she was kind and smiling the whole time. The Bartender is incredibly talented. Give this place a shot and don’t let the louder music bother you, it’s not a Library and there is outside seating. Cool vibes and great to watch sports or mingle. I’m going back!!!

very poor customer service, the soup i ordered was barely heated up and took up a whole hour, they took forever to bring the slightest things like utensils, sauces, etc. seems like the workers are in their own world instead of serving guests. the music was extremely loud too, you could barely have a conversation. but besides that, the food was really good, especially the ice cream.

Interesting place, I walked in and it was out and out a fiesta. Really loud banda Musica. Don’t let that fool you. The food is straight out of Japan. Fresh and tasty. Some of the dishes has a extra emphasis on the spice but for the most part it’s traditional tasting sushi. Great fun atmosphere, attentive staff. I’m glad I stopped in.

First, we came here on a Friday evening, so keep that in mind as you read this review. My young daughter and I got our nails done in the same shopping plaza; she wanted pizza and I wanted sushi. So, we ordered her pizza (next door) and hopped on over to the sushi place for me. First thing I noticed is the music was super loud and it was crowded with glow art on the wall. The art was nice but the vibe was more like a club/bar combo, than a restaurant, honestly. It was a stark contrast from the calmness of the pizza place next door. I would go as far as to say it’s not an idea place to bring your kid to eat dinner on the weekend since it seemed there was a lot of college aged kids there to drink. If you enter through the front, near the pizza place, you’ll eventually realize no one is coming to greet you because the side door is the real entry with the hostess desk. There were 12+ employees working but all seem too busy to help new customers. The “hostesses” seemed to be tasked to do many things which made it hard for them to help incoming people (not their fault). Also, they can’t really hear you. I wanted a menu and they just pointed to the QR code because conversation was impossible with the loudness of the music. The menu online was confusing, maybe it wasn’t loading properly, so I tried to ask questions. The hostesses didn’t seem to know what was in the sushi, so she asked another girl who looked it up, told me and quickly took off. I had more questions but held my tongue because it was clear no one knew what was in the food and they could not hear me anyway. I ordered and verified that the tuna was cooked and one order was sufficient for a meal. I was told they would bring it outside to us when it was done. My daughter and I not only picked up the pizza and ate it, in the time it took to get one order of sushi, we also sat and talked for 30 minutes before we decided we needed to go look for my meal. Now, honestly, none of this was bad enough for me to write a negative review because there’s a niche for everything (even loud music, bars that happen to serve sushi) but the food and the amount of time it took to get it is what compelled me to write. First, the albacore was not cooked, like they said, it was raw (which is fine I eat raw fish but I was just told otherwise which is why I picked it) and it was not, for me, enough for a meal by itself IMO. Also, it was not worth $20 (4% fee added for using a credit card) for the amount (see pic, you decide). A little more and you could get all you can eat sushi in a lot of the restaurants in Northridge and Chatsworth without shouting or waiting 50 minutes for one small plate.

Really good food. The ambiance is fantastic. Music feels a little too loud to have a conversation inside. Cool art inside. Lots of parking. Loved the sushi and very generous with the ginger. Service lacks more attention but it’ll get there. Drinks took too long and sushi as well but very good quality. Nice people.
