We stopped in zaza’s cucina at Touhy avenue in Park ridge to have a quick bite to eat and it was fantastic. Rich was our server and he really helped us learn about the diverse Italian menu. We decided on the three meatballs in polenta as well as the arancini appetizer and these were absolutely fantastic! They had a large selection of wines from all over the world and we definitely will be coming back!

Great atmosphere and good food. We had the stuffed mushrooms, Vodka pasta and the lobster/ shrimp tagglitelle pasta. The stuffed mushrooms were definitely the highlight. The entees were very good.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for weeks now, so we decided to come for my Mother’s Day dinner. Don’t trust the open reservations, you will have to wait. They had many open reservations so I was confused when I saw the packed restaurant. Waited 20 mins for appetizers, 35+ minutes for food. Thankfully my kids received their food first. Once we received our food, the lamb chops were raw. Completely inedible. There was no management staff present. Some young guy came up at the end asking about it and just said ok and went about his night. Waiter updated us constantly. Looks like they had kitchen and management issues because you can see other tables were visibly going through the same issues.

I cannot understand the negative reviews. My friends and I went to ZAZA yesterday and we had an amazing experience. Food was delicious. My Paloma drink was spectacular. Our server was excellent. The owner was there and greeted us. We can’t wait to go back!

Overall, an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. I would have preferred more vegetarian options for an Italian place. Still, the entrees were large and tasty. The sides could have been better, but still good. I would go back here if in the area.

Lovely restaurant! Newly opened with great atmosphere. You can sit at the bar or in a booth or on the patio. I loved the bruschetta, the tomatoes and basil were very fresh. I also had the Rigatoni Vodka and tiramisu – all highly recommended. Staff was very friendly. Overall a great experience.

Nice place love the outdoor seating. Food way to expensive for portions not to mention the overpriced drinks. Chicken was good but the potatoes tasted like they were reheated from the day before. Probably won’t return back.
