This was my first time trying Indian cuisine. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience. Located on Main St in Danbury. One way entrance and exit with a private parking lot. They have a Halal grocery store attached which you can access through the hallway. Clean inside with charming decor. Our waitress was fantastic. Great service and constantly check to see how we were doing and how the food tasted. Paying in cash saves you a few dollars on the bill.

Garlic naan was really good, curries were a bit sweet. Malai Kofta was okay, the curry flavor was good.

Food and service really could have been better. Rice felt old and dry. Lollipop chicken had the batter come off when it was served. Just disappointed.

Beautiful meal at Zaytuna! Came later in the night around 8 and was seated with my lovely friends and we had a wonderful time here. Our server was so sweet and kind.

I tried Paneer Masala, it was not good. They added food color to it, they added sugar and spices which makes no sense for Paneer Masala. I give two stars for food as qty was good enough for one person. Service is fast.

The food was not good at all. It made my stomach hurt afterwards. We mentioned to the waiter that we were displeased with the food and he just laughed in our faces. If you are looking for authentic food, this is not the spot. They put ketchup in their butter chicken and their grilled food taste like cement .

Loved the ambience and the friendly staff too. The food was tasty although I couldn’t order the grill specials as it would have taken more time. I tried the Indo-Chinese and ordered the chicken Hakka noodles. It tasted more like schezwan than the traditional Hakka noodles. But overall a good experience
