Ordered here some many times already lol. The food is good. I have tried the falafel platter as a bowl and salad. Unfortunately, the baklava wasn’t my favorite though. It tasted very sugary. However, the vegan date dessert was so good! and my ultimate favorite drink here is the celery, carrot and beet juice.

The worst lunch I have had in a very long time. The counter woman was extremely rude and unhelpful. There is literally a sign that says $1.75 for unlimited toppings and she refused to give me even normal portions of sauces. I asked for the tzatziki on the side and she acted as if it were an outrageous request. She insisted that I hand to be charged extra. Also she refused to fill the small cup to the top even after paying extra for sauce on the side. I will NEVER return. Please avoid this place!

Our first time here and our parents live only 10 minutes away from here! I have seen it when driving through the plaza but never tried and I’m so mad we didn’t try it before. They have gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options for the bowls. It’s almost like a chipotle in the sense of you pick what you want in your bowl or pita, but the quality and flavor level is way beyond chipotle! You can sit and eat inside or take it to go. We are inside but I think next time we will order take out! Fresh and good

This place is a disgrace to middle eastern /Mediterranean food. The worse shawarma I ever had. Dry BLAND. Worse babaganoush tasted like nothing. The worse rice. I mean how do you mess rice up? It had that microwave uncle bens plastic taste.. horrible there is no way the good reviews are real. Terrible food . Even the pickles were kind of bland & to make things even worse the portions are comical they give you about a spoonful worth of protein in a rice bowl for 14$

I’m still relatively new to Freehold and I’m eating my way through the town. I’ve seen this place in village center and finally stopped in today for lunch. I got a lamb shawarma bowl and a side of falafel. Boy was I not disappointed! Everything was so flavorful and the falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Delicious. The owner or whomever was working was friendly and helpful in picking my pairings. Already looking forward to my next visit and trying out the rest of the menu!

Food is very dry and poorly seasoned. Terrible! The quality has progressively worsened over the years. Never ordering from them again. Halal guys and NYC food trucks are so much better. They care about quality and how they interact with the customers to make what you ask for not what they want to get rid of.

Zaytouna exceeded my expectations. I have visited several Mediterranean restaurants in NJ looking for authentic Lebanese sandwiches and did not have any luck until I visited Zaytouna. It is authentic Lebanese, great, tender, fresh lamb and chicken, well seasoned and the garlic and tahina are just amazing! They adjust your dish to the way you like by adding and removing ingredients based on your preference. The service was amazing and the restaurant very clean. Encourage those looking for the real thing to visit.

Decided to try Zaytouna for dinner. It seems that it’s more of a lunch place. The food was just okay. Nice selection of items but nothing stood out except for the spinach pie, hummus, and baklava. The portions were pretty big. The people working were exceptionally nice, friendly, polite, and accommodating. Unfortunately because of the food, the whole experience was a bit disappointing.

Zaytouna Mediterranean Grill is super authentic & great quality food! I ordered the rice bowl with the lamb and the meat & veggies are so well seasoned! The owner Rob is super nice and all the food here is high quality & fresh! Highly recommend! Will come here again to try the different sauces! 5 ⭐️!
