Found this hidden gem randomly because we were craving some Thai food! This is now on our list of favorite restaurants – the beef short rib was amazing and the dessert was the perfect size. Overall, loved everything and the staff are all attentive and really kind. We will be back

Had Zaya Thai for the first time for my birthday, enjoyed the lunch special then returned for dinner a few weeks later. It’s the best Thai food in the area! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff are so kind. It’s clear how much consideration went into every detail of the space! Highly recommend, definitely worth a drive to Danville 🙂

OH.MY.GOODNESS!!!!! Sooooo gooooood! Please go enjoy dinner at this outstanding new restaurant. Danville has lots of restaurants but this one is head and shoulders above any place we have dined at over the past year. We took our family of four, a teen and a tween in tow, and everyone was raving about how good everything was. At first my youngest wanted to order off the kids menu, that had a lot of appealing options for potentially wary kids, but he came around to eating what the grown ups were ordering and he was NOT disappointed. The best dish we ate was the Short Rib Khao Soi and he could not wait to tell everyone who stopped to check on us that he wanted his own plate of that and not a family style share. Ha! It is a must order, do not skip this dish, one of the most divine things I have tasted ever! The coconut crepe dessert was also a standout. We tried that and the mango crepe and while both delicious, we have a serious love of the coconut! We had a lot of dishes off the menu and they all tasted like you were in Thailand eating like you were in your Thai Grandmother’s kitchen being spoiled absolutely rotten! The owners and their staff are just darling and we enjoyed meeting them and hearing their story. We wish them the best of luck with their restaurant and we look soooo forward to dining with them again soon!

Another visit but this time I went for lunch. We ordered chicken satay, Thai beef salad, roti and Thai tea. Food tastes good as always. My favorite is Thai beef salad. (highly recommended!) It’s so refreshing and the portion is bigger than expected. Thai tea is a bit sweeter than my liking. Once I let them know, the owner gave me extra milk to help make it less sweet. Happy with the service. Will definitely come back!

Come eat here! The short rib khao soi is worth the price and, I think, is good for 2 people. It’s Thai food, so it is spicy, even things I thought wouldn’t be, I’m not a fan of spice but the flavor is SO good, it was worth the heat.

Amazing food. The dishes are very creative and well balanced. Very attentive service. Beautiful surroundings. Every detail is well thought of. One of those rare places that a lot of love and has been invested in the restaurant. Can’t wait to go back.

Awesome Thai dishes unlike none other. Super friendly young couple owners on site. I’m not a tofu guy but the server recommended it in the a noddle dish and it was delicious – like a crispy square that absorbed the flavor of the spices with a punch. Very high quality and each dish is decorated beautifully. Love the kids menu! Welcome to Danville #zayathai

This place caught my eye because of the name(I named a best friends daughter Zaya.)

We went here during the week for the first time. The menu had so many great options we had a hard time choosing! The mains we ordered were the short ribs and pineapple fried rice. Both were delicious and plentiful! I find with many Thai restaurants it is lots of sauce and very little protein, but not here! They also have a significant amount of gluten free dishes. Come and support this new restaurant you won’t be disappointed!

Tried this place out on a whim and will make it my regular spot. Run by a delightful couple – the husband renovated the place for his wife, and all the recipes are her own. The decor is lovely and the food very tasty, you can tell a lot of love went into designing both the restaurant and the menu. The attention to detail was amazing; the presentation of the table and the food was beautiful and meticulous. Delicious. The owners are very friendly and clearly passionate about their business.
