Stopped by Zaxby’s for lunch. Only a few patrons in the restaurant while we were there. We had about 40 minutes for lunch before an appt. LONG wait for our lunch to be prepared. My husband had the Zax Snack which is chicken fingers, fries and Texas Toast. He really liked his lunch. I had the Grilled House Zalad. A lot of the lettuce in my salad was old and brown. Due to the short amount of time we had to eat… lunch was RUSHED. Didn’t have time to finish eating… thus 3 .

The chicken was old been up since noon it was 5 o’clock. Tough as leather. Got my food didn’t get a fork with it went up to counter and waited 10 minutes before anyone came up. Paid 14 bucks for my food wasn’t worth 5 cents. Definitely wouldn’t be back.

I went here for the first time the other day. I am not originally from Lexington, but my son went on a school trip once and ate here and said it was great, so when we were in town we went through the drive thru. They were friendly, fast, and the food was hot and sooo good. Hands down the best chicken place I’ve been too. Their sauce is delicious, and their pickles are yummy!

This was my first and last time eating here. We came to Lexington for a IU and KU baseball game. Our friends suggested Zaxby’s. They got their food and was almost finished before we got ours. My husband went to what’s the hold up mind you we had been waiting 25-30 minutes by now. Our friends had an issue with their order, we’re still waiting. They were informed of our issue. We I walked up the manager had the nerve to look back at me and roll her eyes as to say I dare you to say something. Finally we got our food, m husband food piping hot, my food ice cold. I will never eat there again nor will I recommend this place To anyone.

Was good until I went and got burnt bread. Who burns bread and serves it when someone orders carryout. They were even nice to tie my bags before I arrived to ensure I did not check them. Screwed me on the sweet and sour sauce to. I am not happy. But I will go back and if it happens again Canes will be my new fav goto.

I’ve gone to this Zaxby’s a few times, and the service is always chaotic, but never as bad as tonight. The young man operating the drive thru was incredibly rude and seemed like he might’ve even been on hard drugs due to the frantic way he was acting. That is not necessarily the person you want touching your food.

In 2021, I experienced Zaxby’s in North Carolina, however in the Particular location, the service not to the standard. Food was okay. Whatever excitement I had about Zaxby’s were not met here.

The meal was decent. The Zaxby’s Signature Chicken sandwich was a bit dry on the edges and didn’t have much sauce. The sauce was in the middle where the juicy part of the chicken was. The fried pickles were good accompanied with ranch although I only got the pickles to annoy my friend who hates pickles. The fries were 50/50 when it comes to soft or crusty. Still edible when it comes to the hard fries.
