I am never disappointed with coming here when it comes to the quality of their food. The breakfast on the adult menu is fairly priced based on the portions & the food is super delicious!! The only issue I had was there isn’t really a kids meal. You get one item & a drink but if you want to add eggs, or meat that costs more. We ended up paying just as much for our meals as our 6 yr old daughters.

We got the all u can eat mussels; I got the white sauce & the wife got the red sauce…Both were pretty good & we would definitely come again for this meal…The only complaint if you want to call at that would be that mussels are on the small side…

We moved to Port Charlotte almost two years ago and love going out to eat. We have been going past this restaurant weekly and finally stopped to have breakfast a couple of weeks ago and again today. This place is wonderful. The food is great, both breakfast and lunch. We will have to try it for dinner. The portions are great, the menu is great, and the service is great. I think this place is always busy.

Found Zarates on line and I was wanting a home cooked meal. I hsd turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce. Side salad was Iceburg lettuce with cukes and chunky tomato wedges. The lettuce had browning parts. The balsamic vinaigrette was great.

Excellent value and great food in a no-frills environment. Specials for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. Everything is homemade. A place the locals know. Come early since seating is limited. Bring cash since that’s their preferred method of payment and there’s a surcharge for credit cards.
