Zapatas has some of the fastest service ever. Our order came out so fast we loved it. The only reason this review is a 4 and not a 5 is because of the lack of fulfilling flavor. Everything things was missing something in the flavor department. Had it been more flavorful it would be a 5 for sure.

We sat on the patio today and with the beautiful weather the seating was wonderful. After we ordered lunch, the food was to our table in record time. The food was good and the temperature was good. We had to continue to ask for ranch dressing to dip our chips in. Finally after the meal was 1/2 ate the ranch came in the smallest of container unable to dip chips in.

Food was average Mexican fare (3.5/5 stars), but the staff was friendly and we were served promptly, so I can confidently give our dining experience an extra half star for that. It’s the second closest Mexican restaurant to our location, so it’s safe to say that we may be back.

Despite being busy during weekends they are welcoming. Staff is so nice and friendly. These kind of gestures make us keep coming. Good food and good seating outdoors. Sunday dine in was just perfect. Nice place to come with family. Their menu have some good authentic Mexican food. Shrimp tacos the best. Seafood quesadillas were awesome. The quantity is just perfect. Quality is of course good. Fries on the side is seasoned and crisp unlike other places who give saggy fries on the side. Jalapeño poppers were the best appetizer. 4 starts for good food and plus 1 is for good hospitality

My husband and I have visited this restaurant a few times now and the food is always pretty good Mexican food. We’ve never had an issue with the service as the staff is always polite and attentive. The have plenty of seating on the really nice outdoor patio covered by a huge pergola. They offer happy hour special Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm. I’ve also included pictured of the entire menu! If you want a nice vibe on a weekday or weekend, I would recommend this place.

I really like the wait staff at this restaurant. I went on a Tuesday night around 6:30 and I ordered chicken fajitas. I was disappointed that they did not come out sizzling and the chicken kind of looked older but it still tasted okay. The in-house guacamole is really good. The queso is watery :-. Again the wait staff is really kind. This is definitely a family-friendly restaurant and there are a lot of children there. Seating is plus size friendly their tables and booths. Not much of a wait for service either even when they’re busy. They just need to work on improving their food. It’s kind of lack luster.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the southeast portion of Columbus. Their food is fantastic, easy go-to entrees are the Monterrey Special and Adelitas. The service is always quick and their house Margarita is one of the better Margarita options especially for the price. Their staff is amazing as well, I find myself in here at least once a month and have never had a bad experience.

This place is phenomenal! My wife brought me here for lunch after a medial apportionment to cheer me up and Zapatas did not disappoint. The food was very tasty, the beverages were ice cold and my spirits were lifted! I will absolutely visit this restaurant and dine in again!
