I went here for the first time and the server was friendly from start to beginning. The atmosphere was laid back and with nice music playing in the background. I ordered the salsa trio and was great. For the entrée I ordered the fajita combo. Those were by far some of the best fajitas I tasted in a long time! They were flavorful, juicy and tender! I absolutely recommend the fajitas. I will definitely be going there again and again.

I enjoyed Zafiros quite a bit. The service and staff were all great. Chips, salsa and guac were good. My steak was cooked and seasoned well, with really nice side of elote and potatoes. My wife’s vegetarian enchiladas were better than most. Drinks were well crafted. I love it when casual restaurants have high standards. It’s not as common as it should be. This place got everything right in an easy, casual environment.

Had a fantastic meal. Food was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and extremely flavorful. We really enjoyed the atmosphere inside the restaurant and were happy with our service. I had lunch at Zafiros Mexican Grill yesterday … we went when it first opened so it looks empty in my photos – there were a lot more people there when we left. We had chicken enchiladas and tacos … the chips are sprinkled with sea salt which makes them amazing … the salsa has a kick after you a few seconds, but it’s very good as well … all of the food was very flavorful. I’m not a Gloria’s fan, but I even liked it better than Rio Mambo. The restaurant is new and modern, very classy. I wanted to go for lunch as I had heard it’s on the pricey side – I had to ask if they had a lunch menu then the hostess said “oh yah, let me get that” – I was happy they had one! I wish the bowls of chips were larger (I thought they were going to give each of us an individual bowl by the size of them) but they did bring refills when we asked for them. I had to ask for tea refills 2x. I’ll definitely go back, probably for lunch again.

Gorgeous Mexican restaurant that may have a little work to do in the kitchen. The neon blue glow against the white upholstery gives off a great look in the spacious dining area, as well as the wrap-around bar in the center. We were worried that showing up at 7pm on a weeknight would result in a bit of a wait, but we got a table very quickly. Our server Corina was friendly and attentive, giving us recommendations. One of them was for the guacamole fresco, and it was fantastic. Unfortunately, our entrees were a little more flawed. The Enchiladas Tres special was good, but the one in queso was barely warm when we got the plate, for some reason. The carnitas on the Huarache was a bit tough, like it had been overcooked. The drinks were also hit and miss. My guava margarita was smooth and delicious, but my wife’s house margarita tastes like someone went crazy with the lime. Hopefully these minor issues were a fluke, and we can expect a more stellar meal next time.
