I seriously have no clue how they are getting any positive reviews. The food showed up on a paper plate that was flimsy and soaking through. The hash browns were inedible, and I asked for scrambled eggs. I was given over easy. The bacon tasted like it was old (as in expired). Everything just did not taste right, mostly sour. My significant other ordered an omelet, and she said everything tasted off, including the coffee. The only thing edible on the table was the dry sourdough toast. That being said, the only thing we ate was a couple of slices of toast and a bite of each thing that they called food on our plate.

I found this place thanks to Google reviews. I asked for the Porky’s special which I closed 3 eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, hash browns and an English muffin.

I was in Dublin and was in the mood for some coffee and breakfast that wasn’t Starbucks or Peet’s. I stumbled upon this place and was happy that I did. The place has an old school dinner feel. The staff are pleasant and from what I can tell has developed relationships with the locals. For my meal I got a breakfast sandwich and it was delicious (see picture). Coffee was just ok but I really enjoyed the atmosphere here and will happily give them a 5 star.

THE BEST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD. Nobody & I mean nobody does it like Kim & her husband. Everything is unbelievably amazing. The food, the vibes, you cannot beat. I have traveled around the world and no one comes close. Been coming here since I was a child. Been a regular since 2017. Good chance you will see me in here if you come. Shouts out Zac’s Cafe #1 GOATED

This was such a great find. Service and food was amazing!!! Such a nice local place with all the comfort in the service, food and how the owners treat their staff. I love seeing the murals of Mount Diablo and the 580 Corridor on the walls, too. Some reviews mentioned how this place is older (ie, not modern) or how their meals were served on paper plates (but they did use silverware and drink ware such as mugs and cups). I honestly didn’t mind when the food was delicious and affordable. I don’t know the intention behind the paper plates, but given how hard it is to find labor, it may be easier to time manage as opposed to putting that time towards dishwashing, etc.

My husband and I ate at Zac’s for the first time this morning. We both ordered the traditional eggs benedict with hashbrowns and we both thought everything was really delicious. There was something slightly different about their hollandaise sauce, but not in a bad way. It was on the thicker side, and really tasty. We’d both happily visit here again for breakfast.

The meals here are made better than anyplace I’ve been too. Everything is made old school with real ingredients and the skill of a chief who makes each meal perfect. I’ve enjoyed eating here for over 20 years. This is one of those restaurants that you know won’t always be here and it will be like losing a best place that can not be replaced if they ever retire. You absolutely need to try this place as soon as you can. I almost always have breakfasts here no matter what the time is. They do not serve dinner. A private local place to relax and enjoy having a quiet date.

First time ever being there as the place is kind of hidden but I loved it. Food was delicious and felt like a complete home-cooked meal. Only negative thing I have to say is it felt like I was in a 80s diner but overall wasn’t that bad. Food and service were great.

I no longer trust Google reviews. This restaurant got 4 1/2 stars. you must be kidding me. No atmosphere. My breakfast was served on a paper plate. I ordered eggs. Benedict and I have no idea what the hollandaise sauce was but it definitely was not hollandaise sauce. The cups were used so much that I was afraid to drink out of them because they looked dirty to me.
