The burgers were delicious. Better than 5 guys. Less grease and more flavor. The z sauce is yummy on the burger. 4 star food rating because the fries were nothing to brag about would be better if crispy. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The food remained hot on a 10 minute drive home. There were 2 tables and some high top seating by the window and it was clean inside.

I had never been to a Z Burger before and did not know what to expect. I heard that they just opened in my neighborhood (23rd St, Arlington) and we heard they had 75 flavors of milkshakes. So, my wife and I walked over last evening to try a couple priced at $8 EACH after tax, tip and the added and undisclosed 80¢ “packaging fee.” (We had a 2 for 1 coupon.)

First of all their burgers..delish. very much like Five Guys. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is not because of their burgers. It’s their prices. On Google it has one dollar sign, which means affordable in my book. Def not so. I went with 2 others. We each got a burger, fries and only 2 of us got a drink. $63. So about $21 per person. That’s a bit excessive in my book. Not to mention it was a small not fancy spot. This review is for those that think it will be affordable…think again. The small fries they give are enormous so def only get one order to share amongst 3 people. Wish I had known that. Good burgers tho.

Came here from out of town not knowing what to expect…to our surprise, food was delicious! 5 of us got burgers and 1 of us ordered an original Philly cheese steak sandwich with an order of onion rings. Burgers were filling, juicy and tasted really good. Cheese steak sandwich was delicious and also filling. The 1 order of onions was enough to feel our family of 6. Place was clean and service was fast and friendly.

I can’t stand businesses that sneak extra charges onto your bill. Here, it is a “packaging fee” that is about 10% of your food subtotal. What is this for? Are they trying to cover the cost of their bags? And why doesn’t the restaurant tell you it is charging this?

The food is amazing. The service is spectacular. My one issue is that the company solicits a tip but the tip does not go to the server. It goes to the company. I was disgusted when I found this out as it is completely misleading. Go here. Buy your food. Enjoy the impeccable service. But be aware that this company exploits its workers by keeping their tips. I found out from one of the workers at the Fairfax restaurant. And no. I will not name names.
