I’ve been here twice and enjoyed it both times. However, I can’t recommend any of the more traditional French cuisine because I still haven’t tried it. The first time I ate here I had the lamb curry, more or less on a whim, and I loved it so much I had to go back a second time. Also, I should mention that on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evenings, they offer a $34 dinner for two special, which includes two meals and a bottle of wine. Overall, Y’ves was a wonderful experience! I will be going back.

Excellent moderately priced French bistro. This charming spot was a special surprise when we discovered it in the Hoffman movie area, and have been back many times. It has a warm, quaint, and inviting environment with friendly service, and authentic French fare. I have sampled many of the savory dishes from soups to beef and chicken – the meals and sauces were all delicious. I have also sampled brunch – eggs cooked in a variety of ways and delicious sweets – after dinner desserts and breakfast pastries – never a disappointment. This bistro is worthy of your time whether you plan to go to the movies or not. It’s a lovely place to have dinner. As a moderately priced place to dine, it’s the perfect way to make an evening out to the movies far more special.

Vive la France! The duck salad lunch special was outstanding! The poached pears had a wonderful texture and light sweetness that complimented the savory duck and goat cheese sharp tartness. Yum! The duck portion was generous and cooked perfectly. Very juicy and tender! The price $11. The wine by the glass prices were reasonable with plenty of varietal variety. The bar appears to be fully stocked. Presently they are running a $30 special to include select two entrees, dessert and two glasses of wine. Only available on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. I will be trying this next week.

First of all Sunday Brunch isn’t bad at all. Service is slow. Price’s are reasonable.

Prime location (near a movie theater), but doesn’t quite fit with the typical clientele of the area, which is probably why they don’t do that much business. I’ve been here twice during normal dinner hours, and it’s been pretty empty.

Ive always walked pass this place not even bothering to take a look at the menu countless times. I regret everything I’ve passed by now! Great service and a great selection of classical music. You have the choice of seating either it be a table for yourself or booth. The menu had a variety of different foods to pick from. I’ll stop by more often!

The Lamb Curry Stew was delicious. Made with sweet potato, plantains, carrots. Very tasty. The Salade Printariere was delicious. Seafood linguine with mussels, whitefish and shrimp was tasty but short on seafood. Bread was excellent.

Basic solid food, and friendly service. I tried the lobster and the Nicoise dinner salad on separate occasions, and would eat them again if I were in the neighborhood. I would not be likely to go out of my way to come here, though.
