Located just outside of Short Pump in Manakin-Sabot. We tried this place on a whim. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The food is good. They have good portion sizes. They offer lunch specials daily from 11AM-2:30PM. You can order online or by phone.

Yu’s is a great little spot. I have only had take out here but I feel like the ingredients are higher quality. The General Tso’s chicken is always on point and I love the sauce so I always order extra. The only thing I wish is they put more wontons in the large wonton soup. Always have to order extra for it to be close to a normal portion.

This is the best Chinese food in Richmond. I’ve turned people on to Yu’s that live 15 minutes or so away, and they will drive there to pickup orders multiple times a month.

This is my first experience ordering here. I had the chicken lo mein lunch special with fried rice and hot and sour soup, as well as an egg roll. This was a surprisingly good meal.

A coworker and I stopped here for a late lunch and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere was nice, the food and service was great. Everything went smoothly except for one thing that wasn’t the restaurants fault… I hope. A man had been sick in the bathroom near our table and we had to listen to the entire ordeal while we waited for our food and we could only hope it wasn’t someone from the kitchen. Luckily it was a customer! But it definitely put a slight damper on the experience. I would one hundred percent come back here for authentic and delicious food.

Absolutely the BEST sesame seed chicken and fried rice I’ve ever eaten. The chicken has a nice, crisp crunch with a sweet glaze and just a hint of heat. Generous portions and a fair price. Quick service, too. I highly recommend Yu’s China Bistro.
