I’ve expierienced many different oriental foods from just about everywhere in Galveston county and Harris and nothing compares to small town Yummy Yummy. While the location and atmosphere could use some work, the food is phenomenal. With every dish being delicious, I have to say for myself, the sesame chicken wins gold. A combination of crunchy outside and juicy tender inside , all while being covered in a mouth watering sweet and robust sauce. The fried rice is moist with a wonderful flavor, bits of fresh carrot and onion topped with love in every bite. If your looking for a real homemade, authentic , always fresh taste , Yummy Yummy is where it’s at.

I order their Teriyaki chicken for lunch almost every day. It is freshly made, flavorful and the portion is huge. It comes with fried rice. Today I ordered their new yummy pho, which had eye round steak, flank steak and soft tendon. The broth was warm and flavorful. It came with onion and cilantro and other greens. I couldn’t finish the bowl, the portion was very big. Yummy yummy never disappoints.

Wow. We ordered a 2 piece fish and 6 shrimp meal.. Fish and shrimp were amazing. Fresh oil was used… Lightly breaded. So good and fresh. I challenge anyone to match it. Yum. Also ordered general taos amd orange chicken. Its decent, better than most in the area. Has their own unique taste to it. I definitely recommend this place. Inside looks clean. The lady who also cooked our food was so sweet. A+

We tried to place a telephone order to go and were greeted by “What the hell do you want”. Not a good start. Then we tried to order something off the menu only to be told, “We don’t do that”. The good news is that the Chinese Wok over the road did and got our business. Yummy Yummy’s is now a family ‘no go’. Customer service? I think not. My advice….avoid these rude people.
