Disappointing. My first and last time. I paid for the salmon cake platter with fried hard cheese eggs with cheese grits for $18. Waited 30 minutes for this nasty breakfast. The grits were ok. The wheat toast was hard and dry. The eggs were rubbery. The salmon patty was nasty, burnt, and full of green peppers.

This place is disgusting I found a roach in my sandwich on 2 occasions. I found it not good. I would give no stars but in order to write a review I had to give it a star. Do not go here! Consider this a warning.

Lamb gyro was very good but burger was average, not bad but not as good as the gyro. My friend tells me everything here is good I’ll take his word. Friendly staff as well.

I will never patronize this business again. I hadn’t been to this place in years and I wanted to get breakfast. I asked for crispy turkey bacon and got burnt bacon that was hard to chew. I was okay with everything else, but when I bought this to the gentleman’s attention at the cash register he became dismissive and very indignant. Instead of saying. “We apologize and will replace your bacon,” he told me that what I had was crispy and it made it seem as if I was suppose to just accept their misinterpretation of what I wanted. What should have been an easy fix, became a debate about how I should be spending MY MONEY. What I witnessed was a typical attitude and posture of businesses that set up shop in the African-American community. When they make mistakes and you point it out, they get angry and become very indignant. They act as if you’re supposed to just give them your money and not care how you’re treated. This type of service wouldn’t occur in a predominantly white community. They would have immediately apologized and corrected the mistake. Instead, the reaction shows that these businesses want our money, but don’t value us as individuals. The guy at the register immediately gave my money back with no intentions of listening. He shrigged me off and moved on to a customer walking in. In addition, the other employees chimed in trying to justify their mistake. The lady went as far to say you’re always complaining about your order, however I hadn’t been there in years. This was her way to dismiss the situation by trying to look like the victim and made me seem as if I were wrong for not wanting to eat burnt bacon. I will never suppirt this establishment again. What I saw was a negative perspective of who we are as African-Americans, where they csn just feed us garbage and it’s supposed to be okay. Again, this is a common experience in African-American communities where businesses are operated by non African-American people. They only care about our money, not the service to the people. As a professional, I refuse to give my hard earned money to people who don’t care how they treat me as a paying customer.
