This is the best place in town for sushi. It’s not the nicest looking both outside and inside and needs major updating. The fried rice is something to be desired. However, the sushi is hands down something my wife and I go back for almost on a monthly, if not weekly basis. Service is good and friendly and we’ve never had an issue waiting for a table. The poke bowl is my absolute favorite and highly recommend!!!

Ima give it 5 cause someone gave it less than 3. Been coming for a year, been excellent everytime. Spicy tuna handroll is an experience! Yellowtail always fatty…

Went with friends for lunch. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I shared the shashimi mori and a couple more shashimi items with one of our group. Everything was pretty fresh and tasty. It’s in a cool spot downtown. I’d go back and explore more of the menu. The price is pretty fair for what you get, and beats a lot of other places.

Really nice sushi. Had the Spicy Red Devil and the Spider Roll. Also had the Cashew Beef and the Beef Chow Mein. Both of the cooked dishes were good, but we probably wouldn’t order them again. We would definitely return for the sushi! They were both great

A great place to eat, right at the junction of I-27 and I-40. One of my favorite local oriental restaurants. Staff are always friendly and I’ve never had a bad meal. Parking isn’t always easy but it’s definitely worth the trouble.

Great food, great service, great and calm atmosphere. Sorry you have do deal with some rude customers. Last time I was here there was a very rude lady talking bad to yall but aside from that this place is cheap and really good quality with good friendly service.

Every time I visit this place everything is just about perfect. One of the most important things for me is the cleanliness of an establishment and this place is always so clean. Every person who has ever helped me at Young Sushi Rocks have always been very attentive and super nice! The food…the food is so good! From the appetizers to the entrees, it’s all been great! I don’t know why it took me so long to visit this place, but I’m glad I did.

Normal prices for sushi in this city. The sushi was as expected, but the pickled ginger was dry. The green curry was incomplete missing lemongrass, kefir lime leaf, and red peppers. It also contained jalapeños officially making it a Texas style recipe and not authentic Thai. We sat in front of the sushi chefs, who totally ignored us. Part of the custom of sitting at the sushi counter is interaction with the chefs, while they are creating their masterpieces with pride generating tips from the customers. Plus, encouraging loyalty and repeat business.

I definitely could have chosen a million different ways to spend 90 dollars. I did take my family of 5 here. The sushi was so bland. I basically ended up putting soy sauce og everything just to add flavor. We ordered the busboy and dishwasher rolls, chicken fried rice, two salads, miso soup and hot sake. The sake was the only part that had flavor. The staff were very kind. Atmosphere was average. I’m glad I didnt splurge and buy a sushi boat.
