Excellent tasting Udon! This little place is quite cozy and relaxing. Best thing is prices for the food was the best I have seen in awhile.

The sushi here was delicious. If you’re looking for straightforward sushi rolls etc without spending a fortune, this is a great spot to visit. They could improve a couple things, namely their paper menu could use some photos of the food to show it off or even a QR code menu would be more helpful than just a list of things without details. The atmosphere was fine, it wasn’t anything fancy or modern. The location and appearance of the building kinda had me concerned, but again the food was great. All they need is a renovation! Also maybe more sound blockers in the ceiling, because we could hear the martial arts place upstairs as people hit the mats!

This place is not known for fancy decorations. It is the quality of the food that makes it stand out. I never quite like California roll until I come here. It is so good. All of the food they offer, the udon, the don, the sashimi and the sushi, none of them disappoint. The owner has been operating the same shop since 1974. I will surely come back for it next time i am in town.

Very cute spot that serves classic and authentic Japanese fare. We got the caterpillar roll, rainbow roll, katsu don, tempura udon, and chirashi bowl. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. This is going to be our new go-to sushi restaurant!

Unfortunately didn’t really enjoy much from the restaurant. The sushi didn’t taste very flavorful and the rice was a bit dry. The green tea was really bad, the water tasted chlorinated and not much of a green tea flavor. The chicken teriyaki was good but not great. The sides were not very tasty. The edamame wasn’t seasoned. It might be some time before I’d swing by here again.

Mom and pop eatery. Good service and food is fresh. Price is decent for the quantity and quality. Sashimi on the roll rainbow roll was thin. I really hate the fake crab meat and cooked shrimp in the Chirashi. Small slices of sashimi in the Chirashi. Sushi rice vould use more vinegar. Soft shell crab tasted old, fishy like taste, as in been in the freezer for a while.

The restaurant itself has a nice and calm atmosphere, with traditional izakaya vibes. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing and of great quality. There’s a lot of variety in the menu as well, so there’s bound to be something for everyone, and at a great price!

I have had a love affair with sushi for more than 40 years and have lived in many cities (not in Japan). This is hands-down the most delicate, well-crafted, and wonderful sushi I have ever had, delivered a relaxed atmosphere. It is not about size but quality (for you guys out there lol). I have always drowned my sushi in a mix of soy sauce and wasabi, but here I have had food and taste revelations. Order anything without fear, Yama will craft a delicacy. All have been amazing. Highlights: aji, takoyaki, salmon-skin and negihama handrolls, and I’ve never had better miso soup or unagi. Finally, the staff is lovely, and if you like low-decible level 80s hits, this is the place for you.

I’ve driven past this place several time and finally tried it and I was really impressed! Great food, great service. Def a hidden gem and I plan to go more often now that I have finally tried it! Tempura was lovely especially the shrimp and yummy spicy tuna roll! We also got the snow shell crab rolls, salmon belly, yellowtail and mackerel nigiri! Everything was great!

Yoshino’s Japanese Restaurant is a gem for lovers of Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is exceptional. The Spicy Crunchy Roll is a must-try with its perfect balance of spice and crunch. The Calamari Tempura is also a standout, with tender calamari and a light, crispy batter. Yoshino’s offers great service and an overall amazing dining experience. Highly recommended!
