My friend and I visited York Street (again!) on 8/17/23. We both had the herb crusted pork roulade, shared the Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese, and finished off with the peanut butter pie. The food was excellent as always (as were the cocktails). Bobby was our waiter and he is fantastic! He took great care of us and made great recommendations. Will definitely return!!

My family and I were recently at York Street Cafe for brunch and had a wonderful time! We’ve been there for dinner before, but had never tried their brunch, and I’m so happy we did. It was gorgeous outside so we opted for the patio seating. It was so peaceful and relaxing out there. They even had umbrellas for the tables in case the sunbeam became too much. Sam was our server and he did an outstanding job. He helped recommend drinks and dishes that catered to our typical tastes and he did a fantastic job! I don’t drink, but he happily offered a mimosa style mocktail for me to enjoy with my brunch and it was perfect! We started off with their highly recommended home fries and they were delicious. I could eat my weight in those. The portion is smaller so Sam suggested we order 2 since there were 4 of us, which worked perfectly. I ended up ordering the brunch platter for 2 since it runs a little small. It consisted of scrambled eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, 4 pieces of French toast (which I substituted for 4 pancakes), and seasonal fresh fruit that was perfectly ripe. My family members enjoyed the Eggs Bendict, Shrimp & Gritts, and Steak & Eggs dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them. I ended up taking home a piece of their Key Lime pie and it was amazing. It was literally a slice of summer in a pie with the perfect amount of tartness. To top it all off, all the staff signed a card for me since I was there celebrating my birthday. It was the sweetest thing and really touched my heart. I’ve never had a restaurant do that for me before. Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful experience and I look forward to going back there many times in the near future. Thank you to our server Sam and all the York Street staff for such a wonderful birthday brunch!!

So glad we found this place. Everything was perfect. Our server, Bobby, was charming. And the Last Dram is possibly the best cocktail I’ve ever had. Lovely place.

York street helped me to plan a wonderful birthday dinner for my wife. They were very accommodating for our large party. Billy made sure everything was set up wonderfully – the atmosphere was great. And Cheryl was a wonderful waitress – she took great care of us. Food was very good. Will absolutely be back.

The mussels were perfect! The salmon was good as well. The ceases salad was complete with real anchovies however they charge extra for them . The risotto dish was tasty but surprisingly super small for the price. I would not order that twice. The service is great and the atmosphere is dark and historic. A good date night restaurant.

We were there to celebrate our anniversary. The entire staff made us feel special. They even had a note on our table signed by team wishing us a Happy Anniversary. The food was amazing and Cheryl was a fabulous server! We could not have asked for a better anniversary dinner experience. HIGHLY recommend York Street cafe!

This place is so unique, the atmosphere is awesome, our server Bobby was so nice and such a great server and person, great attention to detail. Food was wonderful, we had dirty humus Appetizer it was very flavorful, my husband had the cheeseburger, he ordered it medium rare and said its the best cooked burger he has ever had, I had the chicken cherry salad, it was perfect and refreshing. We met the new owner, he was very nice and talked to everyone and introduced himself. I would definitely recommend this great little gem.

We had a wonderful brunch Sunday. The menu was perfect and the dishes well prepared. Sam, our server, was very knowledgeable and attentive. The building is charming, with great period architecture. This is a perfect place for brunch, lunch or dinner before any activity in the Newport/Covington/Downtown area, or a romantic meal with your special someone. Kudos to Billy for creating an inviting and delicious addition to the area!
