I thought this place would be good because I saw other Asian people eating here. Idk what they were eating because I got the fried rice with chicken, shrimp, and pork and there was no seasoning to it whatsoever. It tasted like microwaved plate from the grocery store. The dumplings were frozen and undercooked. The food tastes like the frozen Chinese food from the grocery store. They give you one measly packet of soy sauce and sriracha and it did nothing because the food didn’t taste like anything. Never been more disappointed in a shrimp in my life. Do not eat here unless you like bland food.

I ordered the fried rice with chicken and the shrimp tempura ramen. The ramen was not bad but I was a little disappointed for it being a ‘noodle house.’ I thought it was a bit watered down. What really dissappoijted me was the fried rice. I’m a huge fan of fried rice and this one just had no flavor. The chicken in it was bland as well. Honestly I regretted purchasing the rice after the first bite. I may return to try different options but as a first experience I was not wowed by the food.

Named after a famous food district in Taiwan, this place offers a feast from the East. Located inside the Ontario Mills, near the food court, but not quite, Yong Kang Street is a nice, bright, and open made to order fast service restaurant. From their menu, they, surprisingly, seem to offer just about everything. They offer dishes from Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and even Japan. So yup, they really covered their bases.

Ordered Tonkotsu ramen w/ tonkotsu broth. Broth tasted watered down and visible looked watery. 1 packet of soy sauce helped. Pork belly felt a little small and overcooked. Eggs were very overcooked, solid yolk. The noodles themselves were actually pretty alright. I didn’t feel it was worth the $18 pricetag (w/ extra pork + egg)

Beef and chicken hibachi plate had no flavor. I think they use baking soda to tenderize their meat, but it’s too strong to the point you can taste it. The sauce could not cover how bad it tasted. Huge disappointment. Steer away from this place when it comes to food, you’re better off eating at the food court.

Yong Kant Street was a random pick that we were obviously very hungry at the time we found it, it was pretty busy and I trust my guts when it comes to busy places, we ordered 2 plates and it only took like seven minutes to be ready which was so fast compared to the amount of people seated and the busy time of the day, the noodle with beef was tasty and nice but I would say the portion was pretty small specially the beef, the other plate which was the shrimps hibachi style was very tasty and the portion was ok with the noodle, the overall experience is good for a fast food
