Visited Yolk for breakfast in the Burr Ridge village center. This turned out to be a really great breakfast! The restaurant is bright and very well lit on this sunny May morning. It was not very busy at 8 a.m. local time on a Wednesday morning and the parking was plentiful. I ordered the egg and protein breakfast with seasoned potatoes and ham with English muffin as the side instead of pancakes. The English muffin was served toasted with butter and a berry mix jam that was very good. When the order came I was not quite sure what I got myself into. The ham steak was gigantic! Everything on the plate was very flavorful. I just wasn’t able to make it through hardly any of the potatoes as I had to prioritize what to actually finish on the plate. I think that’s a good thing! They have a cafe if you are just wanting to pop in for coffee or a latte. The coffee served for breakfast is the same drip coffee that you would get at the cafe and I really enjoyed it. Plus while I got breakfast I was getting refills on coffee! My server was cheerful and friendly and provided a very enjoyable experience. I really recommend this place if you’re anywhere in the area.

Fabulous restaurant for breakfast! The decor is light and has a sunny feel. The menu has many creative entrees, for both breakfast and lunch. The food is marvelous and so is the service! I had the West Coast crepes (avocado, mushrooms, scrambled eggs and cheese) and cheesy grits! Mmm!

Walked in greeted with a smile, very pleasant and friendly. No wait! Waitress came, very nice. He took our order. We waited for about 15 minutes and our food was here. The food was very delicious. Two thumbs up.

It’s always great to have a new brunch option near home! Menu pricing more closely resembles downtown Chicago than the suburbs. I tried the Hibiscus-Berry Arnold Palmer ($5 – the menu is misprinted) and their seasonal Raspberry Lemon Crepes ($14). My husband had the Country Skillet ($18). Eduardo pleasantly served us this morning!

Very cute spot for breakfast or lunch. The menu had so many delicious sounding items. I got the southwestern salad and it was perfect. the buffalo chicken wasn’t too much, and it was a great lunch! My friend got the red velvet french toast which apparently are pieces of red velvet cake toasted like french toast. It was delicious, a little sweet for me, so passed on the additional syrup! But a delicious breakfast pick if you like a sweeter breakfast! We both got speciality coffees. I got a iced blueberry muffin latte, which was just okay. My friend for an iced salaried carmel latte which felt wasn’t crazy abt it.

We had very good breakfast here. Unfortunately, the cappuccino varied in quality quite a lot.

Food wasn’t the best. Not bad, just bland. Pricing was insane. We like to order based off photos from the restaurant’s Google page. He charged us as if it was a custom order. (I looked after and they had the thing on their menu, so we were definitely overcharged for all the “additions”).

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is very good, the menu is quite pricey but it is the little things that really put this place over the top:
