Wow…hidden gem.. authentic food. Full bar. No complaints here..loved it all. Recommend the lunch special…the poblano soup is amazing. My favorite was the Mexican Martini made by bartender and server Andrea. You have to try this place..I will be back.

The French press coffee is awesome. The chicken tinga and birria were a little bland but not bad. Choose from refried black beans or charro beans with most plates here. Cooking the food took a little while because one person in my party ordered the grilled chicken. The guacamole was very good though!

Started off with the queso fundido and flautas. The queso was outstanding and I would definitely get it again. My server was Andrea and she provided amazing service. I had the watermelon again Fresca which was refreshing and my entree was a pescado Al pastor; it had very good flavor and it tasted well with the pineapple. I had ordered the pineapple upside down dessert and also the Quatro leches. The pineapple upside down was a little better in my opinion. The rice and beans are also really good. 🙂

The food looks better than it taste. It’s a knock of version of Authentic Mexican food. The Elote had the usual flavors which was a plus. The Birria tacos were mediocre and the consumé was way off from any other I have tasted. If you order queso, it’s a queso and chorizo dip. Very small portion but also very delicious. But they do not bring you chips with it, so be aware. They bring you 2 tortillas which they charge you for those as well. Their dipping sauces are nothing to get excited about. It seems they buy the sauces and dilute them. They have filled jugs of water so if you need a refill, it’s right there. Which was a great idea and very convenient.

Our experience at the restaurant was fantastic, and we wanted to express our gratitude to the wonderful staff who made it all possible. Andrea, our server, was absolutely excellent, providing us with top-notch service throughout our meal. The food itself was fresh, flavorful, and truly a refreshing change from the typical Tex-Mex fare available in Corpus Christi. At first I was turned off that they don’t serve chips and salsa, but you can request some and don’t let that deter you from coming. We order the guacamole and it’s always so fresh and tasty. Love the pork chicharrones, flautas, and pineapple upside down cake. Our service is always good and attentive. Their margaritas are probably the best I have had, they make their own mix and they taste so fresh. We have been here several times and will be back!
