I’ve been enjoying the food at Yoko for almost 30 years. The main hostess Kim has always been a delight to interact with. She is one of the kindest and sweetest ladies you could encounter. Always professional, courteous and happy it seems. The orders are always accurate and the food is consistently delicious year after year…decade after decade. This review was much deserved long ago but better late than never. Thank you Kim, for all your kindness, smiles and amazing food. I highly recommend this quaint little restaurant for a delicious lunch or dinner made quickly any day of the week. To long time locals like me, this wonderful restaurant is a staple of cuisine for the Milton/Edgewood area.

It was just okay. They served me a broth type soup while I was waiting for my Teriyaki Pork. The soup was so salty I couldn’t eat it. When the teriyaki pork came out, the teriyaki sauce was quite salty also. Not the usual teriyaki sauce I get at other restaurants. However, the lady at the counter was very friendly and engaging.

I ran businesses for nearly 40 years and I never once found myself unable to look a customer in the eye and say Thank you. The food is all right here but the owners take your cash and hand you your change all without ever looking you in the eye. Something about this just doesn’t seem right. I’m not expecting a hug or a back rub, but it’s a small business with local competition nearby. In fact, there is another Teriyaki place only across the intersection from this location and so that’s where I will be going from now on.

Super busy at 6:30pm, but the lady at the counter was kind to all, and moving quickly to help all customers. Food tasted great. Which this place was in my local neighborhood. I’d highly recommend.

i walked in and there was only a couple of people there. i ordered at the counter for eating there and got the teriyaki chicken and spicy pork combo. i was brought some edamame and miso soup and enjoyed both. the main food was also delicious, the spicy pork was perfect (i like spicy). the salad was a little over dressed but the dressing had a great flavor. the teriyaki sauce was one of the best i have ever had. the service wasn’t great, i actually had to go to the counter and ask for a napkin and utensil. overall i would definitely eat the food again but probably get it to go. i definitely want to try the kim chee next time.

We moved to Milton recently and asked about good places to eat. Several people said go to Yoko Teriyaki! They were sure right! Delicious teriyaki Hubby said. I loved the vegetable tofu meal, sorry I can’t recall the name of it right now.
