I have to say, this restaurant used to be my favorite. I don’t know if they’ve changed management over the past year or what but every time I’ve had it, just horrific. From the food to the drink it was seriously disgusting I couldn’t even eat it. Which shocks the hell out of me! This was my go to! They definitely changed their teriyaki sauce and it is disgusting and I’m not a picky person. The rice was old, the chicken was old. The restaurant is in poor condition also, it was very filthy, unsanitary. Safe to say I will never waste my money again. Do better!

I’ve been going to YiHi Japan in the Eastgate Mall since I was a little kid. I live further away now but still think about it from time to time. A recent review was very negative and accused this place of having changed management/teriyaki sauces/recipes and being very gross now. This scathing review had me questioning if my old favorite restaurant really was falling apart. I haven’t been in at least two years and knew I had to see for myself!
