The food looked great, but it really was so-so. The onion pancake was a bit hard, the soy milk was a bit too sweet (only one sweetness), the oyster pancake was not the best, and the rice ball was just OK. Definitely won’t be coming back if places like Yong He exists.

I had to try the newest Yi-mei restaurant in San Gabriel. I often drive on Main Street/Las Tunas but I didnt really notice it till today.

I liked this new SG location that is so new and clean, the interior is also bright and roomy. Service was fast. Order at the counter then find a seat, sit back, and enjoy. But don’t be fooled by the menu on the wall, they also sell pastries, dumplings, rice & noodle dishes, and frozen goods. Everything we had that day tasted fresh, I’m glad they are not like other similar restaurants nearby that always sell old and stale leftover food.

Yi Mei in Arcadia is usually where I go to satisfy my Taiwanese food cravings. This location is much closer and it’s in the same plaza as Gamjatop!

Place is clean and you will get 2% off when you pay cash. I had Chinese Donut, Baked Bread, Soy Milk and Sweet Soybean Pudding. They taste good except the sweet soybean pudding.

Wonderful space and delicious TW breakfast. The salty soy bean large size was enough to share. I personally still think the salty rice rolls served in the States should not be wrapped in plastic wrap. OG TW in a bag allows you to bite and reshape…or I’d like to see a deconstructed rice roll in a bowl. Easier to enjoy. Bottom line loved the place and will be back!

Bun mushrooms very tuff to eat. It was reheated making hard to chewed on it, the inside stuffing was dry like a rubber piece.

Good Taiwanese breakfast. The rice roll + soy milk is a hefty and tasty breakfast. Nice people working here. Decent pricing.
