Such a great first experience trying Ethiopian cuisine! Unique, relaxing, and immersive location with friendly and helpful staff that offered great recommendations. Very intentionally strives to share Ethiopian culture and language alongside the food; I purchased a fun little Amharic writing guide and word search as a neat memento!

The food here is seriously outstanding. Everything we had was great, including the Ethiopian hot tea. It’s downstairs when you get there. As for the atmosphere. It is quiet and the lighting is a little dimmer so good for a dinner setting. The service is great. Again, this food is outstanding. I would definitely eat all of it again.

First time trying Ethiopian in Dallas and this place was so delicious!!! We were skeptical at first because there wasn’t anyone else there, but I think we just came too early. We ordered the veggie combo and the beef on a sizzling platter. The food was so good, can’t wait to come back!

We have an amazing dinner at this place, we were sceptical to enter, it didn’t look very good from outside, but once you are inside nothing matters! I was craving for delicious Ethiopian food and I found it! Ask for the vegetarian combo and add the lamb to it! You will love it! Delicious! The service was very nice and friendly!

Tradition was really fun, chill and a relaxing atmosphere. AMAZING food. Our server was very kind and helpful for our first ever experience eating Ethiopian food. Everything we ordered was so tasty, we ordered Zil Zil Tibs and the vegetarian sampler. The restaurant feels like you stepped into Mom’s kitchen. A hot cup of cinnamon/ginger tea was a cozy way to end the meal.

I love Ethiopian food and am so glad that my husband came across Yenat—this place is phenomenal. We went on a Friday night and ordered the veggie plate for one, Doro Wot, and Yebeg Tibs. Everything was so good and flavorful—even down to the salad that comes on the veggie plate. The sauce on the Doro Wot is what my dreams are made of. The lamb was really flavorful as well. The vegetables were so good. Really there was nothing that was not exceptional on our plate. I also ordered the ginger tea, which they make with fresh ginger and it was so good that I ordered an additional cup to go! I also loved the ambiance, service, and overall experience. I appreciate that they stay true to Ethiopian culture. We will definitely come back
