I have learned that one has to overlook the star ratings sometimes. First visit, dinner, was really good. The elk chili was very flavorful, the kids ate a really nice hot dog and burger and the Montana Philly was really good too. Sweet potato fries and regular fries were pretty good too. Our waiter was a nice fella. The kitchen was backed up they told us but we are on vacation, what’s the rush. We’re thinking about trying it for breakfast.

I wish I had remembered my servers name. He was missing his Rs, so i know he was from the East Coast. He was awesome. Service was great even though he was the only server. The lady who seated me was very nice and attentive also.

We showed up to a wait line, 15-20 minute wait. After 40 minutes and no one ahead of us was being seated, the hostess told us there was tables in the bar and we’d get our food faster. We got a table, ordered. Our server was also the Bartender as they had no food Runner. After another 40 minute wait, the server was informed they were out of one of the meals. Ordered a Philly instead. Then, the other 3 meals and our appetizer showed up. Artichoke dip was badly overcooked and burnt and stuck to the sides and bottom of the cast iron pan. Then the server, who by the way was awesome amazing, came to inform us they were out of the Philly. So we ordered the Trout for a 3rd try, which by the way was underseasoned and overcooked. He came back to inform us HE, was comping our entire meal. From the time we got there until we left with our food to go, was, drumroll please, 2 hours and 43 minutes!! Not once did the manager, cook, and I use that word loosely here, came to apologize or anything! That’s not the servers job, again who was awesome through this all! No one should ever have to wait over 2 hours for food. And no, they were not so busy to not be able to get food out in a timely manner!

Absolutely the best hard working waitresses. Very caring hard working. No one else in town was opening either because of the rodeo or father day. It’s your busy season tourist time. They were the best of the best and work hard. Appreciate everything they did for me and my wife, both days great employees highly recommended!!!

Lovely find! We really struggled with the food options in Gardiner, MT. Mostly you have pub/bar food options which is fine once or twice. We visted The Yellowstone Mine twice and it was the best meal we had while on our trip. Others were comenting on their meals too. We had the quesadilla, a ceasar wrap, and the trout. All very well prepared and good service. Highly recommend if you get tired of the burgers and chips everywhere else.

I wish I could accurately describe how terrible the service was. The food itself wasn’t that bad. But almost three hours from in the door to walking out? Coworker and I went there for dinner. We ordered our food. My food and app came out at the same time. My co worker waited almost an hour for someone to even come to talk to him. They said they would check on the order. And while he was there we decided to order dessert so we could get it in a timely fashion. HIS DESSERT CAME OUT BEFORE HIS FOOD BY 30 MINUTES. They didn’t want to help us at all with the bill over the wait. I will never step foot in there again. Sad because they place has potential.

Our server, Leslie was amazing but sadly someone else called out leaving her the only waitress in the main dining area. But she did great. Our kids quickly received water in fun plastic cups that made their night, while we reviewed the menu to order. If in the area would recommend coming back. Their Cowboy beans were delicious.

Service was slow and bartenders were rude. Our appetizers took about 30 minutes then after they served us its like they forgot we still wanted to order dinner. Took about another 30 minutes to get waited on again so we could close out our check. When asking to close out they were obviously frustrated that we didn’t want to wait. Appetizers were good but they need more servers.

Waited for 40 minutes to be seated and 1 hour after we placed the order, we still don’t get our food!!! Even the table ordered after us has finished the meal. We asked waitresses how long we can get our food, she just texting and said we can cancel the order. After 1 hour and 40 minutes, we had to walk out of the restaurant and starving! We even have a 5 years old kid who was crying for food when we had to leave. I don’t recommended this restaurant at all. Unless you want to waste time here!!! The worst restaurant I ever tried in my life!
