Great place. Food is good. Lacks tasting 100% authentic (although many make gumbo different). Had the gumbo and the jambalaya. Amazing customer service. They’ll even let you sample dishes. The bread is just wow!! I highly recommend this place!!

My wife and I walked in for the first time and the cashier was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. She gave us a sample of a few different foods that I was unsure about. I went with the mock shoe and gumbo. The gumbo was kinda of bland and the maque choux was good but was looking for more of a kick of spice. My wife had the jambalaya and it definitely had a spice kick it was good but the rice was over cooked very mushy.

This place hits the spot! Cajun food at a great price. The atmosphere probably won’t impress a date, but your confidence to bring a gal somewhere for the food will once they take a bite. So glad we found this place on our visit to town and that other kitchens were already closed after 10pm most other places.

Food was sensational. The guys working the front helped us pick out great combinations! Only complaint was that it was so good I needed to order a second bowl!

A little variety is good so for a fast dinner we chose Yats dinning in. Service very friendly and offered my wife a first timmer here a taste before her decision. Food was good could have had a little more of the entre over the rice for the price. Not my everyday stop. 3.5 in total

This was my first visit to this location. Food gualilty, service, and proces is consistent with other locations that I have regularly visited in the past. Not sure if something has changed since the last time I visited a Yat’s, or if the college location is different, but portions seemed to me much smaller than ones I had received in the past for the same price, but this could aslo be my imagination due to the new packaging. Far fewer hot sauce selections as well, but they are good options none the less. The one downside to this location (or anywhere else in the BSU villiage) for Muncie locals is the parking, which tends to be occupied by students who should be parking elsewhere.

The food is simply explained if a bit pricey, and the service has always been good when I’ve eaten there.
