Just tried for the first time on Saturday & I must say their food is amazing. We arrived pretty late but still were able to try a few things & it was sooo goooood. The owners are super friendly and helpful and the food was super flavorful and had the perfect level of spice. You get a great amount of food for the price & I can’t wait to try more.

The flavors were good, however the portion size they give wasn’t so good. They give a large portion of rice, & small portions of meat. The Oxtails were very small in portion and also small in size with very little meat on the bone. It was a large order as well, and I was charged $16 for such a disappointing amount of meat.

Today was my 1st time ordering from this restaurant and the name suites the taste of the food! I had the stew chix with rice and peas and curry chicken with white rice. ITS WAS BOOOOOOOMMMMBBB!! Aaaaaabsssolutely delicious. THANK YOU for blessing Waterbury with your restaurant.

This was a big no for me. Highly, highly disappointed by the bland flavors and there was a dog in the restaurant. Unsanitary and simply gross. Unfortunately, will not return. Service dog or not, there should be a separate waiting area. Other customers have allergies to pet hair there should not be animals by a bar. Berties would never.

Clean and very welcoming small is around $10 but the food is not at all what I expected. Rice was very bouncy and tasteless no flavor. But the chicken was okay.
