It’s always nice to dine here on an afternoon when the sun is out. The view of the Green Lakes while eating is a very big plus. It’s not our first time to go here, it looks like they changed their menu. Food taste good and staff is very nice. I had a cocktail last year that I wanted to order again but they changed their cocktail menu too.

Just two miles from the Green Lakes, this place had great food, amazing views and a serene atmosphere! We had margherita flatbread and Waldorf chicken sandwich. Both were really good. A few of my friends had beer, which they liked. The service was excellent; Bianca did a great job! After our meal we walked around the property and enjoyed the views (attached photos). (Did not take photos of the food, we were super hungry lol)

We visited for lunch on a weekday and I ordered the Waldorf sandwich which came on a croissant along with fries. The fries were an extra $3 which brought the meal to a whopping $19. The price wouldn’t have mattered if I felt the meal was outstanding but it wasn’t. The Waldorf salad was missing any hint of flavor. Sure it was chock full of chicken and had a nice crunch from the walnuts and celery but it just didn’t have any flavor. I could have made this salad at home and it would have tasted the same. If I go out and pay $16 for it, I want it to taste fantastic. The fries were OK but I could go to McDonald’s for the same price and get awesome fries. I guess what you’re paying for here is the scenery and granted it’s lovely. The restaurant inside has a rustic charm befitting all the surrounding greenery. Staff was attentive and service was good.

Our party of twelve was treated wonderfully by an excellent waitress and staff. The bar drinks were great as was the food. I would give the atmosphere a 5 were it not for the inappropriate language of some golfers at the bar. That is something that’s difficult to have control over.

Returning after almost 3 years since our last outing to this picturesque gem at the top of Green Lakes. Nothing had changed with the quality of food and service, but definitely feeling the inflation/tip crunch. Exact same lunch we’ve enjoyed for ~$60 is now a $100 experience for two. Not sure we’ll be returning at that price point and with a recommended 18% minimum tip. Tired of having to subsidize abysmally low service wages with massive tips.
