Yard Jerk food is usually good. However it doesn’t always hit the mark. My experience this morning was messed up. I asked the server what meat was in the stew peas, she told me chicken foot. So I decided to get the soup instead. I don’t really like chicken foot. She said there was no chicken foot in the soup. I see her and the other server laughing. I knew there was chicken foot in the soup because of the way they were acting. Before I ate it I checked and there was the foot. Nothing against chicken foot but I don’t like it. Just my preference. Thank God I’m not allergic to it. Which is rare. If somebody say that they don’t want something you DON’T slip it in their food. My review is they can’t be trusted!!!!! Who knows what else is in the food…They just lost a customer for some dumb stuff! That’s what people do to your business when you’re not there. They make dumb moves…that’s why businesses are losing customers and closing down.

Yard Jerk is awesome! The jerk chicken was delicious and spicier than other places. The beef patty, rice and peas and cabbage were also delicious. They had a display of different foods that all looked so good. Can’t wait to go back!

I recently had a experience where I ordered curry chicken with them and got the stomach bug from eating the food, the food smelled sour and spoiled after I received and even when I tried a piece of curry chicken it was undercooked and had a SOUR smell to it. Very disappointing because this would be the 2nd time I gotten the stomach bug from this establishment.

Some of the Best Jamaican food in Town. Tons of flavor, seasoned well, herbs and spices. The food is always fresh and tasty. Everything is hot and fresh and prepared well. They also have a great $5.00 lunch special that includes a soda. The service is outstanding always friendly and accommodating and the portions are generous. I love this place. They now have 2 locations and me and my coworkers visit all the time.

This place used to be good but I don’t know what happened. I am so turned off by this place I have to let everyone know. I called to order food a week ago and the food was not only disgusting but the portions was small for the price. I ordered two fried chicken dinner and two oxtail. I told the man over the phone that I wanted oxtail gravy on my chicken and when I opened the bag to my surprise there was no gravy on the chicken he just threw a little gravy on the rice and the chicken was so dry I almost choked. And not to mention it was burned so it seemed as if they re-fried the chicken because they were too lazy to fry a fresh batch. My sister even said that it seemed as if the re-fried the chicken she didn’t enjoy her meal either. And worst of all their portion is small my parents both ordered oxtail when my father opened the bag he was so upset to see the portion they shared for us. To add injury to insult my mom ordered a cow foot soup and the yam and dumplings were burned and there was no meat just bone. Never again I felt so disgusted and disappointed in this place because I thought it was a great spot but I will be returning to this place again and will let others know to avoid this place.

Do not go there!!!!!WARNING. This was my first and last time eating at this place. The service was terrible, the lady was very impatient. We had the fried shrimp with rice and peas , and the jerk chicken by itself . The jerk chicken was pink undercooked and had a smell. I went back and told her, she gave me another one with no hesitation. When I tried the jerk chicken again it tasted as if it was spoiled. I went back to her again, she said: “You don’t like it again, what do you want me to do???” (With attitude). I proceed to putting the meal in the trash, said nothing and walked out.

I went there around 7pm for a meal, the lady serving the food look like she have a bag of stress on her head serving the food her fave wasn’t pleasant at all. The jerk chicken was dry, however the rice and peas was ok. Very neat restaurant, probably will try it out again “maybe” at a earlier hour to see if there will be any difference.

This is my third time having a very rude experience. This one lady (she’s light skin, on the thicker side) she’s very rude. The next time I go I don’t want her to serve me . She’s rude and have no manners what so ever !
