I called ahead of time to ask some questions about the foods they offered since I couldn’t find a menu online. The woman answered all my questions and even told me about the daily lunch special! When I got there, I let them know I called earlier and she remembered me and fixed my plate. Had no problem subbing extra vegetables instead of the rice.

The plantains were hard and stale, the white rice served with the goat was so hard, it was not edible. The food was so bad I had to throw it on the trash, I will never order from here again. With food being so expensive you would think restaurant owners would make sure the food they serve is at least edible!! Trash trash trash!!

Requested a sample of the curry goat since it was my first time there, lady denied it, decided to go ahead and buy it anyway. I ate some of it and had to throw the rest away because it had a weird taste, had my hubby try it as well who confirmed a weird taste, I just couldn’t figure out what it was so I kept eating to see if I could get the taste but I started to feel sick, nauseous and sweaty. Threw it away, will not return, hubby had jerk chicken and it wasn’t seasoned properly.

Listen, if you’re the craving good Jamaican food you have to check this restaurant out. I used to live nearby and would frequent the restaurant quite often for authentic Jamaican food. I’m Jamaican and I’m very selective of the Jamaican restaurants I visit. The food here is consistently good and fresh. The people who work at the restaurant are pleasant. Never had a bad experience yet.
