I believe I have rated Yannis before but I’m happy to do so again. My husband & I love their pizza! We’re from WV but also have a home in Maine where we usually spend @ 6 months of the year. We always look forward to going to Yannis because it’s simply the best pizza anywhere. The toppings are always plentiful & they don’t smother it with too much sauce as many restaurants do. Sometimes I wish they’d add a few more spices but it’s still delicious either way. We’re here through October & plan to order there many times.

This place was FOUL! We got a large steak, hamburger and sausage pizza with extra sauce and extra cheese, there was a skimpy layer of cheese, almost no sauce (that tasted like the inside of a tin can), very greasy, crust was bland and crumbly as if stale, the three meat toppings had ZERO seasoning or flavor beyond “MEAT”. NEVER AGAIN will I spend $39 on “food” that carelessly crafted. Even the small pepperoni we got was inedible. Guess we’ll have Ramen noodles for dinner……thanks Yanni.

Yannis doesn’t pretend to be anything except for what it is. Decent, simple honest pizza and grilled and fried food, nothing pretentious, and the staff is friendly. It was exactly the place to go on a rainy afternoon with 8 hungry, rambunctious kids, or some pizza to go with your beer. And did I mention it’s probably the best restaurant value for 30 miles?

Yanni’s is a perfect sandwich and pizza place. Their pizza is, to me anyway, perfectly put together–the sauce has great flavor and they put just enough of it on. They don’t put on a huge amount of cheese, the toppings are well distributed. Sandwiches are always good, and very consistent in good quality. The turn around time is perfect too, usually 20-25 minutes. Great selection of drinks, fantastic baklava, and a completely casual atmosphere.
