The food portions are a good size, and they don’t skimp on meat and veggies. I have been to other Chinese restaurants, because I was not in Salem, and Yan Yans does it better. The flavor is on point. I recommend any of the lo meins and veggie fried rice.

Delicious food and huuuuge portions. I have gone here every once in a while since I was a kid (used to have a different name) and the food has gotten better and better over the years. The sweet and sour chicken was sooo crispy! They give complimentary tea and soup as well!

While a small place, this spot is surprisingly great, wonderfully and friendly staff as well as high quality and high quantity food for a steal of a price, it’s not exactly cheap but for the quality and the amount of food you get it’s more then worth the price, highly highly recommend, you will leave full of food and with a smile on you face. PS. Try the curry chicken.

It’s changed hands in the last few years. I’m happy to say that’s its as good as ever. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The Kung Pao chicken was very good. They asked how spicy, I answered spicy. It was perfect. Just short of making you sweat. The portions were very generous. No one at the table could eat all they had, although none of us can eat like we once did. The staff were attentive and friendly. It’s also a very clean resturant. It’s an easy recommendation.

Not ordering food here again. I ordered chicken chow mein. It was just a plate of stringy onion or sprouts and slimy gray chicken pieces. No noodles?? My boyfriend ordered pan fried noodles he said tasted like dirty water and they were not very warm. Pork fried rice was all I actually ate and it was pretty good. Waitress was very nice and pleasant though, all the employees are nice. Which is the only reason I gave it two stars.
