We ate here for dinner on Saturday just before the rush. I had the Teriyaki Chicken with Onion Soup and it was so good and the portions were huge! I didn’t get the salad because I had eaten one a few hours before but we did get the spring rolls but no picture.

This is now my favorite resteraunt. You can’t beat the price. We bought an entrée, sushi, beers, and fireball shots. The price is unbeatable. The service was top notch. The staff were the friendliest I have ever encountered. The food was absolutely amazing.

Yamato in Tullahoma is one of our go-to restaurants. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is absolutely incredible, and almost always too pretty to eat! The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, yet sleek and modern with a traditional cultural twist. Since the remodel, we have branched out and began trying so many more options because the food is so delicious. The sushi is so fresh. The hibachi dinners hot and perfectly cooked. Always a 5 star experience!

The plum wine is excellent as well as different shrimp dinners. The Yum Yum dressing is so good on the salad so I order a pint to take home when leaving. The habachi dinners are all excellent and I especially like the steak, shrimp and scallop dinner. I’m not a sushi eater but my daughter is and she gives it a thumbs up. You don’t want to miss eating here for an excellent meal. They even have carryout if you want to pick it up and carry it home.

The service was not the greatest took awhile for anyone to greet us at our table. The server just gave me a blank face when I asked for recommendations. Also took quite a while to get our dinner plates. I’ve had a lot of sushi in very many different places the quality of their meat was not the greatest it didn’t seem very fresh it was still edible but nowhere near the best sushi I’ve had considering the prices I didn’t feel that the meal lined up with what I was charged. There’s far better sushi in Murfreesboro; Oishiya hibachi & sushi is ALWAYS excellent.
