You ever lost your appetite because something just disgusting or annoying happened to you so you don’t even want to eat your food anymore no matter how hungry/much you were craving that food?? Well, that’s exactly what happened to my family and me at this Yama location.

This was a great experience and a lot of fun. We have never been to a Japanese restaurant before and had a couple of friends accompany us who are regulars. That really helped us in figuring out what we should order. We ordered a variety of sea food small plates and sake. Everything was delicious and I’m looking forward to going back!

Great for party and gathering. The seafood was very fresh. There were lots of items on the menu to choose from. Everything was so good! Service was great. Will come back again.

Sushi and small bites were good but they apparently forgot about our yakitori, or they let it sit on the grill for far too long. When it finally came out, the meat was dry and some of the items were too hard to even eat. The server was nice and removed those inedible items off our bill, but I cannot give a 5-star rating given that portion of the meal. It’s too bad because the rest of the experience was good.

I had dinner here. Josh Chardonnay, edamame, salad, and tomato salmon. Wasabi sashimi. So tasty and little carbs. The place is completely packed on a Friday night at 6:30 pm. It’s really loud but food is delicious.

This is the only location I go to. Always great service, good food and atmosphere is cozy. Although the food is small portions I’ve always left feeling full and happy. Great time spent with friends and family.

Loved the fried squid, the spicy salmon hand roll iced green tea and the ramen. The ube swissroll desert and edamame were ok. Great variety of dishes. Next time i want to try the marinated baby octopus. Can’t wait to bring more friends and try more items like the wasabi bloody Mary.

We went here cause it’s the only ramen place open until 10:30pm on Sunday nights. The chicken breast skewer was good, but I thought it could use a dipping sauce. I got the yama ramen and my boyfriend got the miso ramen. The yama ramen was alright, but it felt like a there way too many noodles and not enough veggies. The Tonkotsu meat was alright. The noodles were thick and a little chewy too.
