We were traveling from orange beach to Biloxi MS. there were no staff on site, just two 3-4 year olds sitting at the entrance of kitchen. We were asked to order on our own at Kiosk even though we wanted to dine in, the kiosk software was designed for the owner and was not customer friendly. We had to wait 20 minutes to an adult person. We had some questions before we placed the order and she went to kitchen after telling us to order on our own. Horrible customer service, not a giving environment. When we entered the restaurant most of the tables have used plates and food on it. No clean table. We placed the order at 8:30 but the lady said we close at 9:30, when asked whether you will be able to serve us dinner she said we are cooking and not sure. If we will be able to cook before that time then we will serve otherwise not. There were already 5 people waiting for their order in the restaurant. And there was an annoying whole body tattooed man who abusing in front of this 3-4 year old children because his order was not ready since one hour. We asked to cancel our order but the lady said we can not cancel. So we simply walked out and disputed the credit card charge.

I have been coming here for many years. This is a great takeout spot for Indian cuisine. We ate in on this trip for dinner. The waitress asked us if eating on paper plates was a problem since they package all things togo even if you want to eat in. This was ok for me because the food is what I am after the type of plates. Our food came out after a short wait. We were some of the only people inside but most orders were for takeout. I had the Chicken Vindaloo and my wife had lamb tika masala. We shared the fried pekora and fried C momo dumplings. All food was great. Best thing was the meal was already in takeout boxes so we closed it up grabbed a bag and was able to leave. Super easy interaction. I love the food here and don’t care how they decide to serve the food as long as it continues to be good and fairly priced. I am glad they are still in business when so many places have closed.

While the furnishings may be lacking, the food is definitely not! The traditional Indian foods were amazing. They really aim to please. The variety was also amazing. The prices were more than reasonable. Everything from the lamb to the curry to the traditional breads were delicious. We ended up with a good bit more food than we could consume in one sitting, but were happy to take it with us! The colors are as vibrant as the flavor. I’ll be back!!!

Everything I have tried here is absolutely delicious! I’m not always adventurous with trying new things, but I can’t seem to go wrong no matter what I get at this restaurant. It’s all so good! I also appreciate that they are open on Mondays when so many places in Fairhope are closed. We all need to support these restaurants who open on Mondays so that they can continue this.

This place is disastrous to say the least . As a person who knows what Nepalese food should taste like, I can confidently say this is THE WORST PLACE I have eaten by far . Please do yourself and your wallet a favor and DO NOT COME here . All the bad reviews that are here is LEGIT. From bad service to bad food and everything in between this place is a disaster. Never coming back and neither recommending anyone come here either. Please stay away from this filth.

The name of the restaurant should be Yuck The Kathmandu Kitchen. If 0 stars were an option, I’d put it. The food, the service, and the vibes are all DISGUSTING. Their food contains 10:1 ratio of oil:food. I think you’d be better chugging a glass of oil if you wanna feel how eating here feels like. Me and my family feel sick because of the food. Spent over 50 bucks on legit disgustingness. DO NOT COME HERE. Having been raised eating Nepali food, I would honestly say it is one of the worst nepali foods I’ve ever had.

your rice is gross. idk if you put dirt in it or your food just taste like someone put a dirty sock in it. 10 out of 10 wouldn’t recommend anything that has rice.

Yes you need to order from a kiosk. It really isn’t difficult. There’s instructions nearby, and it’s easy. The host came out anyway to make sure all was OK. The food was very tasty. It was cold inside the restaurant and no music playing, just the sound of the water fountain flowing. Very reasonable prices. No more lunch buffet, I hope they update their website.

This is by far my favorite place to go on my Saturdays away from the office. The quiet trickle of the waterfall at the entrance, the delicious spicy lamb curry, and the BEST sweet tea known to mankind make it a 10 out of 10 in my book.
