I went to this restaurant for the first time last night & it was the best takeout restaurant experience I have ever had. The food is delicious & while I waited, the owner gave me a cup of his mint lemonade & two ears of corn free, just to show his appreciation for my business after I told him that I traveled 17 miles from Garner, NC to try out his restaurant. Please give these guys a try if you are into Mediterranean Food because you will be highly satisfied. Plus, he makes all his food right in front of you so the food is always hot & fresh. Also, his prices are low & the food is worth every penny. Please try this restaurant out, I promise you that you too will spread “a good word or two” able their food & customer service experience.

So very glad we found this place. Granddaughter, wifey and I got chicken and beef shawarma and gyros as well as fries and hummus. Wow.. best we had eaten. Loved their hummus a lot.

I came by this past Friday at around 1:15pm. When I walked in there were 3 or 4 women working. Before greeting me they talked off handedly between themselves. I felt uncomfortable because even though I was the only one there it took several mins for anyone to say anything to me. Just looked at me. Then one woman asked what I wanted and I started to order. Then she said with snarky look one min. Then the lady right next to her said what do you want? So rude. The next customer was a man and they were so welcoming the min he stepped in as well as the guests behind him. The falafel pita was good but the amount of taboulah I received as a side was sad. These women are rude as hell and should never be in customer service. They seem racist. Wonder if that’s why they had to hang the all inclusive poster that is obviously not genuine. If you don’t like Americans the leave the country. We dont want that here…we are all different and here that is good. I’ll never ever come back was even worried they might have messed with my food.

I would like to say Yaba is a beautiful surprise on our side of town. There is Arabic music playing in the background and the staff are quick to get your order and serve you. I was taking back to my childhood back in East Africa with the music. The Menu is packed with so many options. We tried the chicken and beef platter, The sides were amazing…my favorite had to be the eggplant. Thanks for opening a healthy and thoughtful restaurant. I’ll be coming soon.
