I came here for a poker event with my amazing title company simplicity title. Absolutely stunning views of the golf course, it was truly breathtaking. The venue was also elegantly designed and perfectly maintained, making it an ideal location for any special event. They had 3 separate spaces and 2 full bars. The attention to detail and high-quality amenities made our experience unforgettable. Thank you for a wonderful time.

I ate at the 26 Tavern for my birthday, family took me there. Not a good place for dinner, mostly sandwiches on the menu. My wife and I had the special that night prime rib. I had the king cut she had the queen cut. There was no size difference and the meat was square. When have you ever seen Prime Rib square??? Also it was grilled????? It had grill marks on both sides, never in my life did I see prime rib like this. We had appetizers nachos, wings, and tuna tar tar. They were all good . But they do not know how to serve we basically had our appetizers, our salads, and our main course given to us about the same time, very poor timing, sad. Don’t go here. Yes nice view but that is it.

Martini was poorly made. What were supposed to be stuffed olives had no peppers or cheese. Squash soup was extremely salty. They gave us a refund. Waitress could have been a lot better. We ended up getting help from the people that cleaned the tables to find our waitress.

Spectacular views of golf course if you’re sitting outside, inside very average. Staff was uneducated, served a bottle of white wine that had not been chilled with no explanation. Had to ask for ice. When food was delivered, servers did not get orders correct. Haphazard service in general. Not accommodating for larger groups.

The food was trash to be honest. Like why did you get rid of my Basking Ridge Country Club for this terrible ripoff. I ordered tacos from there and they tasted really bad. The meat had no flavor, wasn’t even juicy, and just tasted awful. Don’t go to this plac, I’m not going back ever again. The food just tasted trash. The nachos However tasted really good. That’s all that I liked. #bringbackbrcc

Short rib sandwich was tender and the sweet potato fries were very good. Service at the bar was polite and attentive. I would have preferred more flavor in the meat, but that is a personal preference for spice.

Best Burger!! I’m a huge burger person. Krugs and White Manna being my favorites. But the signature burger here ranks up there for sure. The caramelized onions in coke is next level. Service was great and very attentive. My wife loved her meal as well. Decor inside could use a little update, but the outdoor seating by the golf course is awesome.

Went for Sunday brunch yesterday. What a disappointment. Service was very, very, slow. Food was not very good – less than mediocre – and the meals served were barely warm. New ownership seems to have some opportunities for improvement. We have been going to this spot for years under different management, now it’s doubtful we’ll go back.

Have eaten here several times. Food quality, taste and presentation were terrific. Kudos to the chef. The manager greeted us and was present checking on our satisfaction, as well as, the general service of his staff. We will certainly continue to dine here, and recommend it to our friends.

Terrible in every way. Twenty six tavern replaced Delicious Heights at Basking Ridge Country Club, and I would say stay away. When I sat down on my chair, I realized I was too far from the table. I stood up slightly, gripped the sides of the chair cushion, pulled the chair forward and sat down. Except my finger got caught in between the seat cushion and the frame, and that motion crushed my finger. The two pieces had separated and my finger was caught in the middle. I tried to ignore the pain, but couldn’t. The manager Matt walked by, and I said to him that my finger was throbbing after jamming it between the cushion and frame, and Matt apologized. And that was it. So I held up my finger and showed him it was red, puffy, and my nail was broken. Again he said, “I’m sorry. We’ll take care of that.” Then he walked away. Nothing. No replacing my chair right away. Matt knew my friend and I were celebrating our mutual birthday at lunch. No slice of cake. Nothing. I decided to call the GM of the Basking Ridge country club to discuss this with him. Three voice mails over the course of 5 days. No response. I was furious and annoyed over the fact that my finger was throbbing, my nail was broken (waste of a manicure), and my attempts at speaking with the GM were ignored, dading insult to actual injury. On top of that, my portobello mushroom sandwich contained the smallest portobello I’ve ever seen, and was bland. For $15. A mushroom on a bun. $15. Tastless on all accounts. This meal was overpriced, cost me additional money afterward, and caused me pain. Great birthday celebration. What a waste of my time.
