“Xian” in Chinese pin yin if pronounced 1st as 鲜 meaning fresh and savory. And that’s the Chinese symbol that their logo shows. However with the same spelling and pronounced 2nd, it would be 咸, which means salty. And that’s what their braised beef noodle soup tastes like.

No idea how this place would have 4 star. I would give 0 if I could. The food does not taste fresh, especially the chicken feet taste very old and dry. After informing the server, they insisted that’s how they taste. The ribs taste fatty, and chewy. I ordered a lot of food to try, but ended up with tons of leftover. They charge for to go box without letting you know first. Not recommend this place.

As a first time flyer, I was not HIGHLY impressed, however, they did have a good selection of food and were able to get me in and out. I had to make a few condiment modifications to add depth of flavor to my meal but other than that, it was a warm, hearty meal.

Non signature rolls are inexpensive. Soup – Red beef braised soup – was good and the broth was sweet and savory, good portion of meat.

Joel was amazing, and his suggestions were perfect. We got the Gua Bao and the soup dumplings to start. The Bao were delicious and the pork belly was perfect. The soup dumplings had a delicious pork filling.

Came in for the reverse happy hour. They had some good deals on drinks and few food items. The place had a cute cozy vibe. Great value for money

I enjoyed this place! The atmosphere feel authentic and they have decent prices in my opinion, especially during Happy Hour. Our server was nice and attentive. We got the spicy tuna roll which tasted a little too fishy for me, but we also got the red braised beef noodles which were really yummy! I definitely recommend trying this place and I will be visiting again when I go to Austin

Great food awful service. Other Xian locations in town are excellent, but I won’t be going back to this one. The food was flavorful, but half of it came to the table cold. Service was generally bad.

The noodles was alright, but overly salty and missed on the flavours. I expected something spicy from the dan dan noodles, but all I tasted has no spice kick.
