They hiked the price by 50% of what is listed on online menu. I ordered spicy beef noodle soup and fried dumplings which cost me over $28 without tips. Taste is good but i cannot justify it based on the price. I went there around 6 pm on Friday evening and no one was dining in or taking out. There are only three dine-in tables. Not going back again.

This is a restaurant you MUST visit. Noodles are hand-made and authentic. It’s better than Xian famous foods in NYC. Prices increased but still affordable. Their bao is home-made. Also taste is very good.

A hole in the restaurant that’s family owned but serving up delicious authentic Xian cuisine. Family owned from the core and not very well advertised with odd hours but the food cannot be beaten. The knife cut noodles made from scratch to order was one of the best things I’ve eaten without flying to China to eat it and reminds me of the local cusine in China. Prepare to be transported back to China as even the storefront is very similar to that of China with small amount of seating up front. Food came out extremely quickly and it thankfully wasn’t too crowded. Check out this place as it’s one of the most underrated restaurants currently in the Hartford area.

The best hidden gem I found ever. This is the restaurant you MUST visit!!! If u want authentic Chinese food, go for it. Plus, it’s super affordable and they give good portion! Definitely would recommend it as your first choice when you wanna have Chinese food.

this place is a dive. it is also a gem. I’ve been eating xian since they were in west Hartford. it’s the only place in Connecticut that competes with the noodle shops I grew up with in NYC. The noodle quality alone is just outrageous. The soups are flavorsome and balanced. I love love this place and only wish it was open on more days.

The noodles are freshly made, it’s authentic hand pull noodles. The stuffing inside the dumplings are medium well made compare to the authentic Chinese dumplings. And the place needs more work on the sanitation.

We were warmly greeted upon our arrival. We asked for suggestions and were informed of the most popular items on the menu: teriyaki chicken with noodles and spicy beef with noodles. We also ordered fried pork buns. Oh. My. Gosh. This is one of the most delicious meals I’ve EVER had…SERIOUSLY! The noodles are amazing. They were firm and chewy and perfect and WOW! The spicy sauce with the beef was flavorfully spicy, but I don’t have the highest tolerance for heat (yet I finished my plate). The teriyaki sauce was the perfect amount of tangy and sweet. And the pork buns? Holy moly! The bread was sweet while the pork was such a perfect savory. I can’t say enough about this meal. It was absolutely delicious. You HAVE to give it a try. More importantly, everyone asked if we enjoyed it and seemed genuinely happy that we did. What a great, great place.
