A great hand made noodle restaurant in the financial district. The noodles are excellent, thick & chewy, and the sauce is nicely spicy. Note that the sauce is fairly hot so may not be for everyone. Tofu & meat options. Highly recommended.

What a gem of a place! Authentic Xian food in Lower Manhattan. No frills effective ordering system. They even have a sign saying No Tipping Please as all their staff are paid decent wages! Now that is refreshing and a first I’ve seen. Price advertised is inclusive of taxes too.

This place has been on my radar for some time now. Finally got a chance to try the food today with my homie and man we were both so impressed. We both had the hand pulled noodles with pork and they were delicious. The flavor was out of this world. All of the other reviewers are right this is one of the best spots in Lower Manhattan. I want to go back and try everything else on the menu. The place is small but has a nice charm. There’s a nice system in place where you order your food from a kiosk and wait for your number to be called. The staff is very nice. Will definitely be back!

Pretty hidden shop in the alley. Seatings can be limited. Order through booth or from counter.

My death row meal. This is my favourite food, but it may not be for everyone. If you don’t like numbing spice/ schezuan peppercorn, lamb, or expect a nice place to sit; this place isn’t for you.

I love spicy food and cumin lamb so naturally @xianfoods would be a go to. However, this is too expensive for what it’s worth, and super oily as well. I’m not sure how good the ingredients are or if it’s just too oily in general, because I felt quite uncomfortable for the rest of the night after dinner

We had the hand-ripped soup noodles and the lamb dumplings. Everything was delicious! Some cosy seating available inside, staff are friendly and quick service! Would recommend!

Service is great! But I gotta be honest, the food sucks.. The veggie stir fried rice noodle has a sour taste. The quality is far away from the authentic.

I don’t know what’s going on with this location but the last 2 times the pork burger is practically all fat cubes and very little meat!!! The pork dumplings sauce tastes completely different, not regular spicy but extra. I’ve been coming to Xian’s for years I know what it’s supposed to be. This location is messing with the consistency of Xian’s. You can do this to tourists but you are disappointing your loyal customers

The dumplings were my favorite because of the vinegar sauce. My friends enjoyed the noodles although my for me there was too much cumin (clearly a personal preference). My friends normally cannot handle spice but we ordered the regular spicy and they were just fine and agreed the dishes were very flavourful.
