We visited Wu’s for dinner on a whim. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered 4 egg rolls, they come two to an order but are semi small and very delicious. They are served with a choice of two sauces, both thin – one sweet and the other spicy. We also ordered orange chicken & general tso chicken. Both came with rice (white or brown) & the general tso came with streamed broccoli. The entrees were good, the food was hot (temperature), ingredients tasted fresh and portion size were filling; nothing like cheap takeout but also not five star. The best that we’ve experienced in area however.

It was our first time this weekend eating food from here! First: We ordered take our straight from their website and we absolutely love how you can customize your dishes on their website; DoorDash also didn’t have all their dishes! So ordered straight from them is so much better and more variety! Second: we loved every thing we ordered: wonton soup, steamed dumplings, crab Rangoon could have had more stuffing but still good. My SO had the happy family, I usually hate the way Chinese places make happy family but this place – it was SOOO GOOD. I ordered the spicy flat noodle combo and omg it was actually spicy lol si many Asian places now and days don’t know how to make anything spicy! Needless to say, we both agreed we would be ordered here from now on and even try in person! We lived fairly close to the restaurant and our order came under in 40 minutes! (My SO already ate half the appetizers before I took the photo; crab Rangoon came with 4 and steamed dumplings came with 5).

This place is terrible. I ordered the General Tsao chicken, and it the breading was soft hardly any chicken. This stuff was so terrible it had to be frozen. They want to charge almost $20 for what I took a picture of. This had to be the worst General Tsao’s chicken I’ve ever had.

The best fried rice. I’m from NYC and I grew up going to China Town. This is the best!

Do not eat here at 1:30 on Sunday if you are expecting LUNCH pricing. I came here on a whim without looking at reviews. The Szechuan Chicken and Shrimp dinner price is $17-18 and not dinner portions. My other entree I think was $13-14. Charged $34.04 for two entrees … To-Go. And no explanation given about dinner price versus lunch price when given an itemized receipt. The food tastes alright, only reason for 3 stars. And I guess the business is hurting for money when charging prices like that. Long story short – beware of prices here if you’re trying to get cheap Chinese takeout.

Wu’s Bristo is a typical Chinese neighborhood restaurant. Place looked old but the food tasted astoundingly delicious. Got a full bar with plenty of lunch & dinner options in the menu. I ordered plain chicken fried rice & it tasted really good. Decent place, friendly staff & good pricing.

Recently moved from Seattle six months ago and this is one of the best Chinese food in Dallas we’ve found so far — so much so that we drive all the way from Plano 30 min one way (1 hour round trip) to get our Chinese food cravings satisfied. We have tried numerous Chinese restaurants near us in Plano/Frisco with some that are even high end and this is the BEST we have found in the six months we’ve lived here. Fresh and flavorful — quite a hidden gem!
