Great small town cafe, good food. Great place to grab a bite as your passing through. Pork fritter sandwich is huge! Friendly staff and GREAT PIE! Do NOT stop here without trying their pies. Homemade with amazing flavor. My personal favorite is the Penaut Butter pie.

Very good family owned restaurant. My husband and I were visiting & staying in Remer. Friends & family recommended Woodsman Cafe. The young man who waited on us was so friendly & kind, we were very impressed! We stopped in 4 different times, dined in for breakfast twice, dined in for dinner once, and had dinner take out once. Service & food great every time!

We visited on our way home from a Family Reunion. They were busy so the food was slower but that’s understandable. It was worth the wait. The Mexican omelet is so good just wish the menu listed onions on it. Overall we enjoyed our food and will visit again when we pass through

Small Town diner, family owned. The biscuits and gravy are great. The biscuits are not you lead weights but hot, light flavorful home made biscuits. The sausage is a owner special blend. Small Town place, gets crowded fast. But breakfast is always good.

Very quaint local diner. Pretty good variety of food. We had chicken, walleye, salads and potatoes. It was all freshly cooked and pretty good. Service was a bit slow as they seemed very short staffed, but that seems to be the case everywhere these days.

This place is only a spot to stop if you are a local. If they don’t recognize you they are rude and will even ask to eat faster so they can accommodate the locals. This has happened to me twice now and both times the food was ok nothing to write home about. They just turned a new local into a none customer as we just purchased in the area. It is worth the drive to go somewhere else.
