I’ve ordered here a couple of times, and every time they have forgotten something. I asked the cashier if the vinegar is in the bag, and she said let me check. She opened up the bag and told me yes it’s in there and stapled it together. As I was driving down the street my friend checked the bag and there wasn’t any vinegar.

Very nice location. It does have an actual seating area and bar unlike the original one in Clawson. Fast service and reasonable price. I wish the half chicken was still an option for the lunch special but the other options are good too.

Great place! Ribs are to DIE FOR. Service was fast, and efficient. We sat outside under the awning (such a cute set up) and The owner Tim came out to personally ask us how everything was! Definitely gonna be my new favorite BBQ spot! Thanks Tim

Woodpile BBQ catered our wedding of 270 guest. We did an I DO BBQ. Kelly was great to work with from start to finish. She is very knowledgeable, and attentive to very detail. The food was amazing and tasty even for a large party. Our guests loved it!! We were very pleased with our experience. Thank you Kelly, and staff.

First time there. Will definitely be my last!! It was absolutely terrible. Called in order. Went to pick it up. Live in the neighborhood. When I got the food home (less than a five minute drive), everything was ice cold. Tasted like we were eating leftovers. First time trying the brisket and was so disappointed.

Very disappointed with the portion size especially for the price. We ordered the Pit Master Platter and Barbe Cuban sandwich. The meat in both was very dry. The sandwich was packed into a container and was smashed upon its arrival to us. The Key Lime pie was also very disappointing. Way over priced for the food received.

I didn’t know there was a new rule stating that they cannot let me sit at the bar and have a beer while I wait for a takeout order. The bartender let me know with a flat out “No. I don’t have time to bartend and take a takeout order. Go to the window like you are supposed to” They seemed so annoyed that I was there, and was a customer. The place wasn’t even very busy at all. Maybe a 5 or 8 customers today, Sunday afternoon, at 3 PM. What is it like when you are busy these days? Then the order sat in the window as I waited. I might not be entitled, but you are also not entitled to my business again. Maybe, at your Madison Heights location, you should train your staff not to be rude to customers.

I can’t say enough good things about Woodpile. They roll out the smoker and cater our company picnic every summer and always leave our bellies full and satisfied. Great food and service isn’t always easy to come by but Woodpile puts in the effort to ensure they’re the perfect meaty compliment to every event.

The food was cold and bland. The second we ordered and sat down the food was already at the table. We got the BBQ Mac and the Rib Combo, it was disappointing! The cornbread tasted like yellow cake and it lacked corn meal. There were multiple workers walking out of the restaurant and the ribs were way too tough. I remember coming here 2 years ago and it was good, but not now.
