Very balanced & delicious!! There are a few things that could use a little dialing in & then it would be perfect. The pizza was a bit floppy & the scallops could use a bit more richness but everything else was so good that I can’t even bring down the rating for it.

My favorite restaurant in Chattanooga! I have come twice and tried different food and drinks from the menu and have enjoyed every single thing! Both times we had great service as well. The dining room can be noisy. I prefer sitting at the pacific room. Price was mid to high but the food was generously portioned.

The menu is small but the flavor is BIG!! One of the bar tenders recommended the veggie burger. She said that it was so good she thought it was meat. I love a good veggie burger so I ordered it fancy with mushrooms, swiss and onion jam. Wow! It really was the best! The bread and butter and the fresh burrata appetizers were so good too! My son ordered the pepperoni Pizza and he loved it. My husband ordered a Tavern Burger. His only complaint was he didn’t like a burger on a wheat bun.

Excellent food. Great service. Just a little of the slow side (took over an hour from sitting down to getting our entrees). Our party had the blistered Hungarian peppers as an appetizer, which were super flavorful and one had a bit of a kick! The crispy fried chicken sandwich was super delicious. Sounded pretty ordinary on the menu, but had some great unique toppings, including arugula, red peppers, cucumber, and a bit of honey. The crispy artichokes were amazing—lots of dill, so only get if you love dill.

Our first visit to Wooden City on Father’s Day was absolutely INCREDIBLE! My husband is a private chef who cooks for a lot of high profile people, and he was SERIOUSLY impressed by every dish we had. Every dish – every element of every dish – was thoughtfully prepared with care and artistry. Excellent cocktails, too. The Spritz is one of the best cocktails I’ve had. The artisan pizza is legit. The salmon tartine was absolutely gorgeous. Even the bed of rice under the chicken schnitzel was done in a unique way – it tasted like it had been simmered in lemony broth with fresh herbs. Delicious! Our 12-year-old said it was one of the best meals of her life. 🙂 Our server, Alexandria, was knowledgeable about every single item on the menu and had the perfect casual, fun, kind demeanor. Then we found out it was her SECOND DAY working there. She deserves a raise! 🙂 To top it all off, we had a bunch of leftovers to take home, and I left my paper bag on the vanity in the restaurant bathroom. I raced back 20 minutes later to try to retrieve it, because I had so been looking forward to having those leftovers later. The host at the front of the restaurant said, “Oh, we thought you’d be back! We’ve been saving it for you!” Then he got it from the back and brought it out to me. Restaurants that do their work with such excellence deserve for others to know about it. We can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in Chattanooga!

I’m convinced this is one of the best restaurants in the country. My husband and I discovered them in Spokane, then ate at their second location the following month in Seattle, and now 4 months later we made it to their 3rd location. It’s the quality of a very high end restaurant without the high end prices. Can’t say enough good things about it, just go eat here!!

Chicken schnitzel was outstanding. Flavorful with unique toppings. Not boring with nothing on it but lemon like you might get overseas or elsewhere. Brisket was also excellent. Highly recommend visiting Wooden city.

This place is so money! Pork chop is excellent. So flavorful. The appetizer shrimp size is huge. Like 12 pieces of shrimp. Desserts are 10/10

What a fantastic experience! Not only is the food delicious but the ambiance of this place is beautifully tailored to their brand. Everything feels cultivated and intentional, achieving a continuity of space and flavors that felt cohesive while also offering variety. My table ordered the stuffed pepper appetizer, a veggie pizza, a non-alcoholic beverage and a vegan pizza.
