Awesome location, plenty of parking. Wings were good size for the price. The Cajun dry rub was delicious and the BBQ had a great flavor. Buffalo medium was a bit weak, will definitely order hot next time. Overall great food! Will be back for some ribs next

Looked on Google for a good half hour for a place to go to dinner in the Point Pleasant area that was both cheap and well rated. Found Woodchucks and was not disappointed. I came in with 11 other people to dine in and they accommodated for us perfectly. The food came out quickly and tasted fantastic for the price. They have a wide variety of menu options for people with all sorts of budgets. You could splurge on a stacked rib meal with sides which will run you between 20-30$ or if you’re trying to budget, you can grab a hefty sandwich and side for just around 10-15$ Definitely will come back here again to dine whenever I’m in the area again.

Quant spot for some great BBQ. When a steak knife comes out with ribs and brisket you might be worried like I was but I think they offer the cutlery as a courtesy. There was no need for anything than your hands for the proteins. Wicked juicy and saucy brisket. Ribs that just needed to be wiggled off the bones and smoky pulled chicken that was finger licking good. House made sides were exceptional and something to set them apart from others.

This week we purchased a rack of ribs and two sides. We have been going to Woodchucks since they opened. For the first time we had a bad meal. I sent a private email to Woodchucks explaining what happened but go no response after 5 days. So now I am posting my review. The rack of ribs was so dry and the meat did not fall off the bone. The BBQ sauce was dry on top. I question how the chef could let something like this go out to the customers. The two side dishes were very good. Customer satisfaction during these times is essential.

Hello, foodie here! Just got done with our dinner and I hate to say it but I’m not impressed. We were told the food is phenomenal and to try it out, and maybe it is dining in? But, for us, it was “eh”. We got steak tips, ribs, and pulled chicken along with sides (Mac-n-cheese, coleslaw, baked beans, and cornbread), which were way better than the entrees. The meat all tasted the same…sour/sweet. The steak tips were chewy and not what I was expecting. I thought they would have been tender and flavorful (I.e., different sauce and/or rub than the rest). The pulled chicken was chopped and looked questionable. For lack of a better word, it was more of a mushy consistency, not actual chicken pulled apart. The ribs were tender, but again it all tasted the same. It’s one thing to use the signature sauce on the meat dishes, but switch up the base for each one and use the sauce in addition to it.

I love everything about Woodchucks BBQ. Their ribs are delicious. I always get the dry rub, my husband gets the barbeque ribs. Their sides are good too. I like their chicken too. Cole slaw, beans, potatoes, Mac and cheese side are really good. I have always had a good meal, good service. The atmosphere, although small, is bright and clean. We do dine in and take out.

First time visit, my husband and I loved it. The decor is simple. We both wanted ribs. We ordered baby back ribs with five wings. the platter was huge. Half rack, I had dry rub, spouse had sauce on his. Cornbread two sides go with it. Meat fell off the bone, juicy and Smokey and flavorful. We will go there again. Delicious

Go to hickory hog. Better managed and better staff. Took an hour an 15 to get our food and the girl on the phone was extremely rude a out it. But hey delivery driver was nice and apologized. Also missing items so they basically stole from me. I will be happy ordering from hickory hog apparently the smarter more biz save brother who started it. Tell the girl behind the counter woth her racist remarks to be more professional

Small place with the best BBQ in the area. Took my family to dinner in celebration of my son’s bday this weekend. The 7 of us were Greeted by friendly staff. There were very patient while deciding what to order. Food came out quick was great.lots of leftovers for a 2nd meal. I recommend the onion loaf app. Enjoy
