We came to the Wood Grille on Saturday night when we were in Scranton for Family Weekend @ University of Scranton. Our entrees were delicious and fresh (Chicken Parmesan and Scallop/Shrimp Scampi) and the service was excellent. The chickpea appetizer that came with the bread was a nice touch. We would definitely come here again next time we’re in town.

I loved the menu: Italian classics in rational order. You choose your favorite recipe: Franchise, Marsala, Parmigiana, etc. then the meat: Chicken, Veal, Pork. What you get is excellent, classic-with-a-personal-touch food at an excellent price. There’s more, and it’s also wonderful. So is the family touch, and the neighborhood vibe. This is a great restaurant!

My husband and I and another couple went for dinner there on Saturday, August 22,2020. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the entire experience. The food was absolutely delicious!!!! Someone who had been there before recommend their pork mignon and that’s what three out of four of us had. My husband had the veal Parmesan. Every meal was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful and the social distancing was intact through the whole restaurant. Will definitely be a customer to this restaurant again and again

Great spot off the beaten path. Worth the effort to visit. I was only there once so far. The meal I had was a little bland, but I definitely want to go back to see what else I can find on the menu. Staff was great! Everything was fresh and we got a great value for the money we paid. Will definitely go back. Recommended!
